I am a stay at home mum to my three year old, so I am home a lot of the day. My daughter goes to bed at 6:30pm so I would never be out the house in the evening. Walking/ hiking is a hobby of mine, and I’m always out on walks/ hikes around where I live and a favourite of mine is the Pentland Hills.

I treat all dogs like I would my own and am happy for them to be on sofas and beds etc. As my flat isn't too big, I find it is a nice space for a pet to settle into quickly. I live in a two bed flat with my own garden. It is a four in a block flat so I also have my own stairs and front door. My garden is fenced off but not completely escape proof so I have a Spiral tie-out dog stake (a very long lead that is fixed into the ground) which allows your pets to roam where they want without the worry of them going anywhere they shouldn't. I also do watch them while they are in the garden.

I have a little one, so my main question will always be ‘is your dog good around children’ Another question I like to know is how they are around other dogs. And I always like to know what their favourite things to do and eat are/ what their routines at home are. I know that they will be missing their owners so I want to try and match what you do with them as much as possible.

I love to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically. They will always go on nice walks. As long as I have the owners permission to take their dog in the car I will take them on lots of different walks while staying with me such as the Pentland hills, Penicuik house and various country parks. I also live by right by a big park with fields for your dog to run about in and other places that are walkable. lots of options! I also make sure to play games with the dogs I have depending on what they enjoy eg. Fetch or rope tug etc. As well as giving them lots of love, strokes, cuddles and attention.

Home away from home dog care. I have grown up with dogs and animals my whole life. My family and I have always had rescue dogs, and because of this, I find adapting to the needs of all types of dogs easy. I genuinely LOVE dogs and all animals. I find looking after dogs and animals really enjoyable and that is why I’m on Rover. I have had my own dog and understand that your animals are your babies and I intend to treat them in just the same way as if they were my own.

Tamsin was the most wonderful carer for our border collie. She put so much effort into making sure our slightly anxious dog had fun, felt safe and was entertained for a week while we were away. There were long walks, lots of fun with toys at home, and even some doggy relaxing music when she was a bit anxious! We received written updates with lots of photos daily! We'll definitely be back! I highly recommend Tamsin and her wonderful daughter for both dog walks and boarding!

Ozzie had a lovely relaxing holiday with Tamsin and seemed a bit reluctant to come home!
Colin & Missy had the best time with Tamsin. It was the first time we’d left our dogs with someone not in our own family so we were a bit anxious. Tamsin sent regular updates with pictures of our dogs having the best time to put our minds at ease. Ours are rescue dogs who need a bit of extra care sometimes and that was no problem for her. Neither dog wanted to come home when we went to collect! 100% recommend.
