I have lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up on a farm, where caring for horses, livestock, and other animals was simply part of everyday life. Today, I continue that passion by fostering dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through my local humane society, giving animals a safe, loving place to grow and thrive until they find their forever homes. I also have experience caring for small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, so whether your family includes four hooves, four paws, or tiny whiskers, they'll be in capable hands. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual needs, and I know every animal has its own personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax while you're away.

We were nervous about leaving our little farm while we were away, but Tamra put our minds completely at ease. It's incredibly difficult to find someone who is comfortable caring for so many different kinds of animals, but she handled everything with confidence and care. From our horses and pigs to our chickens, dogs, cats, and even our bearded dragon, every animal was well cared for and happy when we returned. Tamra ha sextensive fostering experience through the Salem humane society, caring for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens with a wide range of needs. She has cared for underweight, sick, and very young animals, helping them recover and prepare for adoption in a safe, loving home. Tamra is also a certified bottle baby foster, trained to bottle feed and care for newborn kittens and puppies who require around-the-clock attention.

My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making animal care a natural part of my daily routine and ensuring each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable.

I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care in a calm, loving environment. You can also expect regular updates and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will be filled with care, enrichment, and plenty of attention tailored to their personality. We might start with a walk, outdoor time, or some playtime before enjoying meals and a comfortable routine. Throughout the day, I love providing activities like games, training practice, puzzle toys, cuddles, brushing, exploring new smells outside, or simply keeping them company while they relax. For cats and smaller pets, that may include interactive play, enrichment activities, and creating a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe. My goal is to make their time away from you feel fun, engaging, and full of the same love and routine they are used to at home.
