I have lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up on a farm, where caring for horses, livestock, and other animals was simply part of everyday life. Today, I continue that passion by fostering dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through my local humane society, giving animals a safe, loving place to grow and thrive until they find their forever homes. I also have experience caring for small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, so whether your family includes four hooves, four paws, or tiny whiskers, they'll be in capable hands. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual needs, and I know every animal has its own personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax while you're away.

Tamra was great with my kitty who is not very social. I was nervous that Punkin would be afraid and hide while I was away, but she took to Tamra and her home right away. I received a picture text within 5 mins of leaving her all snuggled and settled in! Tamra sent me pictures of Punkin throughout her 4 day, 3 night stay which put me at ease. I would definitely use here again.
We had such a wonderful experience with Tamra! She took amazing care of our horses and cattle while we were away, including feeding and administering medications, and we came home to happy, well-cared-for animals. She was dependable, attentive, and clearly went above and beyond. We would absolutely trust Tamra with our animals again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible sitter!
Tamra kept my large GSD in her home for a week and took great care of him! He’s a sweet guy but set in his ways so one never knows how he will respond to a new situation…but it was obvious immediately that he felt comfortable with her and was well cared for: long walks, play dates with dog friends, lots of social interaction. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making animal care a natural part of my daily routine and ensuring each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable.

I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care in a calm, loving environment. You can also expect regular updates and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will be filled with care, enrichment, and plenty of attention tailored to their personality. We might start with a walk, outdoor time, or some playtime before enjoying meals and a comfortable routine. Throughout the day, I love providing activities like games, training practice, puzzle toys, cuddles, brushing, exploring new smells outside, or simply keeping them company while they relax. For cats and smaller pets, that may include interactive play, enrichment activities, and creating a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe. My goal is to make their time away from you feel fun, engaging, and full of the same love and routine they are used to at home.
