Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their individual needs and routine. Important details include their feeding schedule, personality, favorite activities, comfort items, exercise needs, medications, quirks, and anything that helps them feel safe and happy. Knowing what makes your pet unique allows me to provide the same level of care, consistency, and attention they receive from you at home.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will be filled with care, enrichment, and plenty of attention tailored to their personality. We might start with a walk, outdoor time, or some playtime before enjoying meals and a comfortable routine. Throughout the day, I love providing activities like games, training practice, puzzle toys, cuddles, brushing, exploring new smells outside, or simply keeping them company while they relax. For cats and smaller pets, that may include interactive play, enrichment activities, and creating a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe. My goal is to make their time away from you feel fun, engaging, and full of the same love and routine they are used to at home.

I have lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up on a farm, where caring for horses, livestock, and other animals was simply part of everyday life. Today, I continue that passion by fostering dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through my local humane society, giving animals a safe, loving place to grow and thrive until they find their forever homes. I also have experience caring for small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, so whether your family includes four hooves, four paws, or tiny whiskers, they'll be in capable hands. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual needs, and I know every animal has its own personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax while you're away.
