Hi! I’m Tammy, and I share my home — and my love of animals — with my husband, adult son, and our sweet senior Maltipoo, Griffin. We're a caring, dog-loving family based in Napa, and we specialize in watching small dogs who enjoy a calm, cozy environment and lots of attention. I work part-time as a Program Naturalist for a local nonprofit and occasionally as a Park Ranger with the City of Napa. I also support Napa Wildlife Rescue as a substitute Educator, so animals are a big part of my life — both personally and professionally. My work schedule is flexible, and when I'm away, my husband and adult son are here to help care for your dog. My son is especially great with animals — he’s autistic with low support needs, has incredibly high standards for pet care, and works at Petco once a week. He takes a calm, responsible approach with every animal, and dogs naturally feel safe and loved around him. Griffin, our older Maltipoo, is very gentle and gets along with almost all dogs, especially other small breeds. Because of his age and size, we generally only host small dogs, but sometimes will make exceptions. Someone is almost always home with your pet, and the longest they’d ever be alone is about 30 minutes — unless we discuss otherwise. We treat every guest dog like family, providing them with a safe, low-stress home full of cuddles, walks, and playtime. I always try to be very accommodating to my clients as they are often coming from out of town to visit Napa. My home is located in a nice neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and is only a mile from DT Napa. We’d love to meet your pup and give them a home-away-from-home while you’re away!
