Hello, I’m Tammy! I’m proud to share that I’ve officially surpassed one year as a Rover pet sitter, and it has been such a rewarding journey. I’ve truly enjoyed caring for so many different dog breeds, getting to know their unique personalities, quirks, and characteristics. One of the most meaningful parts of this experience has been building lasting relationships with pet parents and becoming someone they can trust. I bring years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages. I have a background in obedience training and am especially passionate about providing gentle, compassionate care for senior dogs. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m always happy to work with you to provide the best care possible. Creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment is incredibly important to me. I have a fully fenced back yard with a 6 ft privacy fence. I want you to feel confident knowing your pet is not only safe in my care, but also genuinely loved as if they were my own. I take one pet family at a time so I can provide individualized care A big part of my heart will always belong to my dog, Amazing Grace. She was a rescue from Louisiana who had endured severe abuse. I first saw her story on Fox 9 News, and out of hundreds of applicants, I was incredibly fortunate to be chosen to adopt her. Grace was the sweetest soul and brought so much joy into my life every single day. Grace’s story continues to inspire the way I care for every dog I meet—with patience, empathy, and unconditional love.

Tammy and John took great care of our dog while we were on vacation! Loved getting daily pictures of her.
Tammy and her husband were wonderful dog sitters for my two miniature schnauzers! It was a “staycation” beyond compare. They loved romping in the lovely fenced in back yard and were lucky to receive 100 percent of their love and attention, with Tammy having her “one customer at a time only” rule. I received lots of happy pictures of my dogs enjoying their time and getting lots of snuggles. Tammy was super at her communication and I so appreciate her understanding when we got stuck in traffic on the way back from our trip. The dogs were in great shape and quite content when we arrived for pickup. All of their gear and food was thoughtfully packed and ready to go. Thanks so much Tammy for your professional care and kindness ~ the girls will be excited to return!😁☺️
Girls are so happy to see Tammy and love her place..I have a really hard time leaving them and it is a comfort to know they are happy and well cared for and to be in a safe fenced area to play! So comforting!
Awesome experience from start to finish. Couldn’t be happier. Tammy and John took such good care of our dog. We received multiple daily updates. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was getting lots of love and attention.
Trigger had a fabulous time! We felt so good being away knowing he was being cared for in such a good home with Tammy. You can see how much Tammy and John love dogs and they truly put your pet first. Thank you for taking such good care of Trigger. The pictures and communication was great!!!
Tammy and John will always be my first choice for boarding. My dog, Luna, truly loves it there and I know she is safe, loved and happy during her stay.

Schedule
I currently am working remote 2-3 days per week, and I have flexibility on days I am in office. Additionally, I am available on weekends and Holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure 6-foot privacy fence that will ensure your pets safety. I will go outside with your fur baby during potty breaks and playtime. I want to assure you that your pet(s) will always be supervised in my yard. Your pet is allowed on furniture in my home. I also have a large kennel that can be used if your pet is shy and wants to feel secure that way. I won't close the door so they can gain confidence in my presence.
A typical day
Tossing the ball or playing fetch in our large backyard. I love to see the big smiles when dogs are having fun! Going for walks. Giving lots of love and snuggles as if your pet is our own. I am experienced with bath time and nail trimming.
