Hello, I’m Tammy! I’m proud to share that I’ve officially surpassed one year as a Rover pet sitter, and it has been such a rewarding journey. I’ve truly enjoyed caring for so many different dog breeds, getting to know their unique personalities, quirks, and characteristics. One of the most meaningful parts of this experience has been building lasting relationships with pet parents and becoming someone they can trust. I bring years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages. I have a background in obedience training and am especially passionate about providing gentle, compassionate care for senior dogs. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m always happy to work with you to provide the best care possible. Creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment is incredibly important to me. I have a fully fenced back yard with a 6 ft privacy fence. I want you to feel confident knowing your pet is not only safe in my care, but also genuinely loved as if they were my own. I take one pet family at a time so I can provide individualized care A big part of my heart will always belong to my dog, Amazing Grace. She was a rescue from Louisiana who had endured severe abuse. I first saw her story on Fox 9 News, and out of hundreds of applicants, I was incredibly fortunate to be chosen to adopt her. Grace was the sweetest soul and brought so much joy into my life every single day. Grace’s story continues to inspire the way I care for every dog I meet—with patience, empathy, and unconditional love.

Tammy and her husband are the best Rover sitters! We left our two dogs with them for five nights. It was Daisy’s first time being left with a sitter. We were a little nervous to leave her but knew that our other dog Jake had a great experience with them in the past. Tammy made sure that we were kept updated on how they were doing and sent many pictures. Her and her husband made sure they were very comfortable and followed their normal routine. They were allowed on furniture and had blankets and beds for them to lay on. We weren’t sure that our dogs would even want to come home! We would definitely leave our dogs with them again!
Another wonderful “staycation” for my 2 miniature schnauzers! I truly feel lucky every time I’m able to book with Tammy. I know my two little dogs will be loved, cared for, even doted on. It’s definitely peace of mind. Tammy always sends updates, and photos so her communication is excellent. She reads any information I give her about my dogs with interest, so I know she wants to make their stay as safe, comfortable, and, of course, as fun as possible while I’m away. The Rover community truly doesn’t deserve Tammy and John! They pour so much love and care into Luna every time she stays with them, and I never have to worry because I know she’s being treated like one of their own. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure she is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The hardest part is picking her up—Luna is always so sad to leave them! I couldn’t ask for better people to care for her.

Tammy and her husband were wonderful dog sitters for my two miniature schnauzers! It was a “staycation” beyond compare. They loved romping in the lovely fenced in back yard and were lucky to receive 100 percent of their love and attention, with Tammy having her “one customer at a time only” rule. I received lots of happy pictures of my dogs enjoying their time and getting lots of snuggles. Tammy was super at her communication and I so appreciate her understanding when we got stuck in traffic on the way back from our trip. The dogs were in great shape and quite content when we arrived for pickup. All of their gear and food was thoughtfully packed and ready to go. Schedule
I currently am working remote 2-3 days per week, and I have flexibility on days I am in office. Additionally, I am available on weekends and Holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure 6-foot privacy fence that will ensure your pets safety. I will go outside with your fur baby during potty breaks and playtime. I want to assure you that your pet(s) will always be supervised in my yard. Your pet is allowed on furniture in my home. I also have a large kennel that can be used if your pet is shy and wants to feel secure that way. I won't close the door so they can gain confidence in my presence.
A typical day
Tossing the ball or playing fetch in our large backyard. I love to see the big smiles when dogs are having fun! Going for walks. Giving lots of love and snuggles as if your pet is our own. I am experienced with bath time and nail trimming.
