Information Tammy O. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What is your dog's normal temperament? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

On a stay with me your pup will be safe, happy, and loved! We can walk around your favorite neighborhood, trail, or beach! I’ll even be around to act as lifeguard in case we want to get cool in the water. If your pup is a little older, or prefers a more relaxed time together, we can snuggle up for TV time on the couch!

Pet care experience

I’m Tammy and interacting with dogs is one of the most therapeutic and loving things I do. It’s such a rewarding feeling to see a pup’s face light up and tail wag because they’re so happy to see you. Every dog, no matter the size, breed, or personality, brings me such joy. As a pet owner myself, I also understand that relying on someone to watch over your pet can be incredibly difficult. Leaving your pup for a few days can be a nerve wracking time so I aim to provide a seamless and easy transition. You’ll also love that as a RoverGO sitter, I’ve been met in person by a Rover representative and can offer a safe and loving environment for every pet I meet. When I watch your dog, you’ll get five decades of pet sitting skill and experience! One of the earliest memories I have of pups is when I lived in Sugarloaf Key West and met a sweet pup named Tasha. He used to crawl into my covers and sleep with me at night. I remember him making me feel warm, safed, and loved. As a young girl, he became one of my best friends and was a companion when I didn’t have anyone else. Since that moment, dogs have been one of the most important parts of my life. I’m even the grandmama to my daughters’ dogs, Daisy and Cusco, who I care for on a regular basis. But my pride and joy is my four year old Maltese and Pomeranian mix, Coconut. She is so much fun and keeps me smiling every single day. We enjoy walks along the water, down trails, and she even tags along when I volunteer cleaning up beaches, meeting new friends along the way. In addition to care of our canine counterparts, I love our feline friends, too! I have two grand kitties named Cosmo and Jagger who have such fun and interesting personalities. They snuggle up with Coconut and there’s never any hissing or scratching, just love and laughter. I would be happy to offer up my expertise with cats on Rover, too! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. Lastly, communication is a big priority for me. I’ll always be available in case any questions or concerns arise, so never hesitate to reach out. I’m also happy to send daily updates with accompanying photos so you can see how much fun your pup and I are having together! After all, who doesn’t love getting great pics of their pup enjoying life?!

Absolutely fantastic. Took care of our dog and our home while we were out of town. Tammy kept us updated every day and totally spoiled our dog. We will definitely be using Tammy again.

If you need a reliable, dependable person who truly loves dogs Tammy is your person. She brought her own little dog who happens to look just like mine and they had a great time together. I hope she will be available to dog sit for me in the future as she will be my go to sitter from now on.

Tammy took great care of our 2 frenchies, they can be standoffish but she won them over! They are also a bit spoiled and she continued to spoil them. She also took fantastic care of the house and even watered the plants! I will definitely call on Tammy again and I highly recommend her.

I have known Tammy for years and the love she has for animals is wonderful. She is a loving and caring individual. Your pet(s) will be well taken care of and you would not have to worry at all. If you choose to want a terrific petsitter, Tammy is the one! Cathy Blanchard
