Perfectly! I am recently retired and up by 4:30 am and ready to go to the park. The animal can stay in my vehicle while I attend my high intensity training class for 45 minutes then off the park again for trail running. I love the outdoors. We can spend all day and everyday together so your pet is never alone!

Information Tammy K. would like to know about your pet

Yes. I need ro know about their pet ahead of time. If it’s not socialized, it stays on leash. I need to know the pets habits and background interacting with other animals or running after bikes and joggers etc.

A typical day

It always depends on what the owner wants. Cat toys are usually out and sometimes they just want to be held and loved. For dogs that swim, we’re going to the lake or hiking which are my specialties. I love the neighbourhood park for dog interaction so they can see their buddies I will protect your dog and stay clear of a dog that exhibits bad or aggressive behaviour. .

Tammy provided excellent care for both my home and my pets. She made sure my dog got daily walks and little adventures, and I really appreciated all the photo updates while I was away. My dog is a senior, and Tammy was incredibly thoughtful—she even brought a dog stroller so Bella could ride comfortably whenever she got tired. Tammy truly went above and beyond. She left my home clean and tidy, even organizing a few things around the house. I was welcomed home with freshly baked banana bread on the counter and a handwritten note, which was such a lovely touch. We would be absolutely happy to have Tammy back again and highly recommend her!

I was drawn to Tammy and her lovely older Black Lab, Wesley at Saxe Point Park one warm summer day when we first met about two years ago. Years before I too raised a wonderful Yellow Lab. Much like Wesley, she too was a trained service dog who worked with me throughout most of her life as a companion animal in senior care communities. When I first met Tammy, Wesley was sprawled on his blanket under a shade tree with a pillow to rest his weary body, with his fresh dish of water and healthy snacks and his pet stroller parked nearby to transport him as needed with his weary old bones and arthritic body. Her devotion to his care and comfort was obvious and I was immediately drawn into their loving bond. I could immediately see how devoted she was to her beloved pet as I too had been ‘well looked after’ by my own Lovable Lab years before. The bond between Wesley and Tammy was quite evident to me as well as it clearly was to many others around us that first day and many more to follow until we lost Wesley at a remarkable old age for a Lab. I am convinced he did not want to leave Tammy anymore than she wanted to see him go. I was happy to be a small part of their mutual love and devoted connection. When Tammy and I got better acquainted I saw how she always put Wesley’s needs ahead of her own and how much they each cared for one another. We often joked about the saying “it’s always about the dog’ as we both had learned from our experiences that sharing life with a dog was a lifetime commitment. I knew the pain Tammy was heading toward with Wesley who was nearing his life’s end. Having loved and lost a wonderful pet companion I similarly had devoted myself to throughout her life, I knew Tammy would be lost for a while.. But I also knew that it might not be long before she found another way to ‘give’ of herself to another in some way. I am delighted she has found your organization to do just that! Tammy’s work with your organization will be an exceptional gift for another wonderful dog and its ‘human’ companion. I would recommend her to any who need and want her services and trust. I know she will perform her duties most reliably with love. I have reviewed your web site. It looks to me like Tammy has found an organization that is carefully screening its pet caregivers such as you are doing so that Tammy once again can find her joy in giving of herself to another dog and family. I know that Tammy will treat any animal she cares for with the same care, love, respect and commitment she has demonstrated to me after watching her devotion to “our” beloved and sorely missed, Wesley. I wish her and her loving pet companions and your organization well.

I have known Tammy for over 20 years. We met thru work where I was always impressed with Tammy's high level of professionalism, which included honesty, reliability and always going the extra mile to make sure her clients were taken care of to the best of her ability. Thinking on her feet and excellent communication skills. That level of care transferred over to her love of her dogs. Always making sure that they were safe, happy and well cared for. Her most recent family member, which they were, was Wesley. His needs were never compromised, from 5am walks (every day rain or shine) before work to making home made dog food to ensure quality for good health. I had the pleasure of knowing Wesley, he was lovely animal, well behaved and so sweet and kind. He was a reflection of his upbringing. Tammy would care for any dog in her charge, with the same quality of care. I highly recommend Tammy to be brought in as part of your Rover Team. You would be very lucky to have her on board and so would the dogs :).
