*UPDATE* July 2023 I adopted a dog! The sweetest shepherd mix. He was rescued off a Saskatchewan reservation, was found starving under a deck but with love and care, is thriving. He loves dogs. That does mean I can typically only housesit if bringing my dog and am keeping these services on a more limited basis. If you want to explore housesitting and have a friendly non-aggressive dog, happy to meet and ensure it is a good fit. With my dog Milo, you get a discounted rate as I feel that is more fair. . Fees have been reduced to $40/night instead of $50 He is good with dogs, cats and we have farm sat as well! He loves to play but will respect a dog’s boundaries. Growing up with some tough times, my German Shepherd was my best friend. Dogs have and will always have a special place in my heart! I worked in a shelter as care giver and as an animal cruelty investigator. I was also a foster coordinator for Big Heart rescue, and fostered elderly dogs (hospice) with special needs. I also have experience looking after farm animals: horses, chickens, goats, sheep and more! I will happily take your dog on hiking adventures, walks or runs! But also really enjoy giving your beloved pet(s) a lot of love. My job as a run and strength coach allows me to be flexible and provide excellent care! I am mature, responsible, clean, and reliable. My priority is to keep your pets safe, happy, loved, healthy. Your home safe and secure. Safety consciousness is high. My goal is to make sure your pets will feel secure, reassured, cared for, and excited to spend a few days with their friend. Your place will be kept clean and respected. Plants watered, mail, whatever you need. I keep to myself and am a mature, quiet person, enjoying providing a service so that you can enjoy your travels knowing all is in good hands.
