I am an enthusiastic and dependable animal lover. I have had a variety of pets throughout my life including fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats. I dedicated my care and attention to each of them and would love to continue to share that with other people's pets. I currently have little (or not so little?!) Alby. He is a tabby cat and loves making friends with the other cats on the street. The other cats are not so keen but Alby is consistent. He is a huge softy once he is comfortable with you and will be your best friend if you can offer him a treat. I recently completed a Veterinary care assistant course online. I decided to do the course so I could gain more knowledge about animals and be able to spot common symptoms that can occur when an animal is sick. It also allowed me to gain some knowledge of what to do in a medical emergency and how to administer CPR to an animal if required. I also recently had a chance to spend a couple of days at a doggy day care. I unfortunately had to turn the job down but I got to gain experience dealing and caring with 50+ dogs.
