I have several years of experience working as a veterinary assistant prior to medical school, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, temperaments, and needs. I currently foster animals in my free time and have experience with both puppies and kittens, including reinforcing good habits, maintaining routines, and providing plenty of patience and attention. I also have a dog of my own, Lila, who is back home in New York with my husband while I finish my final year of school. I miss having my little one around to love on, so I’d love the opportunity to give your pets that same care and affection while you’re away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll treat them like one of my own. 🐾

To have Tammy care for your pet is like knowing you’re caring for your pet yourself. She comes to understand the personality in the load of corks that they have and understands that and being part of your family she will take care of them as a family member, I have no problem letting her watch my pets anytime need to be and she has been doing so for the past 6-7 years as I’ve had two cats.

Schedule
My schedule is super free now that I’m on the tail end of my program. I’m available during the week and evenings (holidays as well if booked in advanced)

Safety, trust & environment
I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize keeping them safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions and make sure their environment stays clean and secure. With my previous veterinary assistant experience, I’m also comfortable monitoring for changes in behavior or signs that a pet may not be feeling their best. I’m happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
