We've recently lost our two family dogs which is heart breaking. My cousin has recently got a puppy and I've been helping her with that. I had a puppy as a child. I've dog sat in other people's homes and taken them out for walks. I'm a carer for humans too! If your dog comes to my home they will sleep in my room. Cats will be separated. My partner is available for when I'm not so there is always someone to keep an eye on them.

When we had our first contact and subsequent meet and greet I was assured, as per Billy's profile that he would be the only dog boarding with during the period of his stay and the dog there during our meet and greet was only boarding and wouldn't be there during Billy's stay. I was assured because of my concerns that they would keep them separate but very early on I was sent pictures of them together, I think to try and reassure me but it did the opposite. Billy is an elderly dog (nearly 18) and quite fragile, and doesn't like to share his space with others, especially if they are boisterous or energetic which the other dog clearly was when we picked Billy up, climbing over him to get through the door which Billy clearly didn't like. I was told that you thought you had the other dog when I came to visit but you only had to check the message threads to show this wasn't the case. Although I appreciated the updates and pics whilst away and have no doubt he was adequately cared for, I was worried about him whilst away. I'm sorry that because of my concerns Billy wont be able to come to you again.

Tammy is an absolute godsend. Booked my 2 cats in for a week last minute and tammy was brilliant. Sent regular updates and photos. One of my cats was clearly nervous but soon came out of her shell. Thank you so much. Will definitely use again.
Maisie seemed happy and tired after her stay with Tammy! A couple things could have been better and more clear in terms of communication (Tammy was called out on care work so we needed to pick Maisie up from somewhere other than the drop off, plus we weren't aware that Maisie would potentially be travelling around during the day - perhaps one to make clearer in the description on Rover), but ultimately we got back a safe and happy dog. Duke my german shepherd had a fantastic time with Tammy and thank you so much for taking care of my boy. He was so worn out and loved i wouldn't hesitate to rebook Tammy when I visit Birmingham again

Schedule
I have two private care jobs otherwise I am fully available for pet care 🐶 😺 I can cover mornings, lunch, tea and evening's, also overnight ! I love country walks. My partner helps with the business dog so if your dog needs more attention he is also available. We provide numerous walks which is included in the price

In your home I will abide by your rules I have two cats at my home and we have now adopted a client's dog - border collie. Extremely friendly with everyone and everything. All three can be kept separate if needed. This can be discussed

A typical day
I love long walks but will cater to your dog. Let me know if your dog needs to be walked alone. Playing, walking, affection, whatever your dog wants or needs. I love the countryside and we have a meadow over the road, and Pickering woods also over the road! The Rookers is a ten minute walk maximum down the track
