I believe every dog deserves more than just a walk — they deserve care, attention, and joy along the way. With a background in professional care, I bring reliability, patience, and a calm approach to every pet I look after. I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs, whether it’s a gentle stroll, an energetic adventure, or extra reassurance for nervous pups. More than exercise, my walks are about building trust and keeping tails wagging, so you can feel confident your best friend is safe, happy, and truly cared for.

Information Tammy A. would like to know about your pet
To provide the safest and best care for your dog, it’s important that I know the following before we begin walks: Behavior & Temperament • Whether your dog is reactive to other dogs, people, bicycles, vehicles, or specific situations • Any aggression, fear, or anxiety triggers • How your dog reacts when startled or stressed • If your dog has ever bitten or snapped (people or dogs) Walking & Handling • Pulling habits or leash manners • Whether your dog is an escape artist or tries to slip collars/harnesses • Any training cues your dog knows (sit, wait, heel, leave it, etc.) • Preferred equipment (collar, harness, head collar) and anything they should not wear Health & Medical Needs • Any medical conditions (arthritis, heart issues, breathing problems, seizures, etc.) • Allergies (food, environmental, or contact) • Medications and what to do in an emergency • Sensitivity to heat, cold, or overexertion Socialization • Whether your dog can walk with other dogs or needs solo walks only • Comfort level with strangers approaching or petting • Experience with puppies, large dogs, or small dogs Routine & Preferences • Usual walking pace and distance • Bathroom habits or cues • Any areas, routes, or situations to avoid • Things your dog loves or dislikes (water, loud noises, kids, etc.) Emergency & Safety • Up-to-date contact information • Veterinary details • Permission for emergency veterinary care if needed Being open and honest about your dog’s needs helps ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness on every walk. All information is treated professionally and without judgment—every dog is different, and that’s okay
A typical day
Each day starts with safe, punctual pick-ups from your home at the scheduled time. Before we head out, I make sure every dog is comfortable, securely leashed, and ready for their walk. During walks, your dog gets plenty of fresh air, exercise, and mental stimulation. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, energy level, and needs—whether that means a relaxed stroll with lots of sniffing, a brisk walk for high-energy dogs, or extra breaks for puppies and seniors. Safety is always the priority, with careful attention to traffic, weather, and other dogs. Along the way, dogs are encouraged to practice good walking manners, and positive reinforcement is used to support calm, happy behavior. Water breaks are provided when needed, and playtime is included if appropriate. After the walk, your dog is returned home safely. I make sure they’re settled comfortably, wiped down if muddy, and have access to fresh water. You’ll receive an update letting you know how the walk went, including highlights, bathroom breaks, and anything important you should be aware of. My goal every day is to make sure your dog is exercised, happy, and well cared for—so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands

Reviews

Tammy was great. Kept us up to date and sent pictures. Looked after our Bear very well. Took him out for walks despite miserable weather. Would definatley recommend.

Tammy got to know my chihuahua over 3 days, spending time with her and taking her for walks, as an anxious girl Tammy was patient with her, gaining her trust. I got some lovely photos too. Thanks for taking such good care of my girl x

Tammy was very friendly, and professional. She turned up on time. Got to know my dogs as Arthur can be a little shy. Her communication was great and I would highly recommend her. Thank you Tammy
