Find me on Instagram - TailswithTammie A loving, patient and experienced home-from-home for dogs and cats. I’m a huge animal lover with a real soft spot for both dogs and cats. I appreciate everything about them — their little personalities, their quirks, their loyalty, their independence, and the joy they bring into a home. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for and spend time with many animals, both at home and during my travels. My profile includes photos of some of the wonderful dogs and cats I’ve looked after or met along the way, as well as testimonials from people who have trusted me with their much-loved pets. During my time working overseas, I worked closely with local animal shelters in my spare time, helping to care for and rehabilitate some of the most vulnerable dogs. That experience taught me the importance of patience, trust, gentle reassurance and understanding that every animal needs to feel safe in their own time. I know that no two pets are the same. Some dogs need playful energy, long walks and adventure, while others need calm reassurance, patience and a softer approach. Some cats love attention and company, while others prefer space, quiet and time to settle. I will always take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality and comfort levels so they feel safe, happy and cared for. I currently live in a child and pet-free home due to regular travel for work, so I’m really looking forward to welcoming animals back into my home and giving them the love, attention and comfort they deserve. Whether your pet needs a walk, day care, an overnight stay or a longer visit, I will treat them as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety and routine will always be my priority, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel relaxed, loved and completely at home.

Our little Dottie, fell in love with Tammie!❤️ She provided an excellent service, she was professional always on time and set the reports with lovely photos. She was friendly and kind which was just what you want when you are trusting someone with your precious family member. She was also able to help us out last minute when my husband had hurt his back. Honestly one of the most caring and patient people I know with dogs. She genuinely treats every dog like her own and somehow every dog instantly trusts her. Would honestly be perfect for Rover dog sitting/walking services, reliable, calm, caring and actually loves spending time with them rather than just doing this as a job.
Tammie loves animals, especially dogs. I lived with her in Mexico and she always volunteered to walk the dogs and bath them in the dogs home. She is a very responsible dog walker, always made sure she cleaned up after their toilet breaks and kept them on a leash at all times. Tammie build great close bonds with her pet friends 🙂

Schedule
I work from home on Weekdays and will be available various Weekends also. Please ask me any questions you have. I know your pet is super important to you so having your mind at ease whilst they are here is super important to me.

My home is currently child-free and pet-free, offering a calm and relaxed environment where your pet can feel safe and settled. I also have a fenced garden, giving dogs a secure outdoor space to play, stretch their legs or enjoy some fresh air. Whether your pet is full of energy and loves playtime, or prefers a quiet, cosy space to rest, I can adapt to what makes them feel happiest. I’ll give them attention, affection and reassurance when they need it, while also respecting when they may need a little space and quiet time.
