We are a family of 3 who live in the Gig Harbor/Purdy area. Our home is located on 2.4 acres with open grass areas and a fenced area if your dog prefers to be outside. **Note: fenced area is currently undergoing some summer cleanup so dogs are not left unattended in the yard at this time. We provide a designated doggy sleeping area inside our home which includes a soft doggie bed. We will make sure your pet gets a lot of outdoor time taking walks with us. I also make homemade, healthy doggie treats to spoil them while they are vacationing with us. Your pet will be treated as if he/she was our own pet and will have plenty of playtime and attention. We love dogs and want them to feel at home in our country setting. Also we are not a large kennel, so we only have 2-4 dogs at one time which allows us to give each dog plenty of time and attention and keep things mellow for the dogs and us. We do have our own doggie Willow. She just turned 5 in July. She does well playing with dogs of all sizes. She has made many dog friends through my daycare. *Due to restrictions of our homeowners insurance, certain breeds are not accepted at this time.*

Leaving Lady and Luna for 10 days while we were on vacation made me so nervous, but Tami and her family made them feel completely at home from the very beginning. They welcomed our girls like they were their own — taking them on walks, sending us sweet pictures and updates, brushing them, giving them treats, and even letting them cuddle up and relax on the couch with the family. Lady especially loved all the extra babying and attention! Our dogs also adored their dog, so they had a built-in friend the entire stay. While we were away, Luna developed a hot spot and Tami went above and beyond by treating it right away and helping her start to heal before we even got home. That level of care meant so much to us and gave us incredible peace of mind knowing our girls were truly loved and cared for. We will absolutely be using Tami again and can’t recommend her enough!
I will definitely be using Tami again. Tami took care of my 1 year old pup Parker. Parker still has some of that puppy craziness and this was his first time being away from home. Tami provided a super environment for Parker. She was great at communication, super to work with and made me feel super comfortable with leaving my pup with her. As I said I will definitely use Tami again, it was a great experience for me and my dog.
This was far and away one of the best Rover experiences we have had. It was the first time leaving our new rescue pup and to say he is timid is an understatement. I knew he would need just the right fit and we definitely found it in Tami and her family. I loved the option to have him picked up and we got regular photos and videos that clearly showed our shy guy with a smile on his face. Tami asked all the right questions to make sure he would be comfortable and adjust to a new space as fast as possible. Knowing that he had settled in and was doing well was icing on the cake of a great vacation. Having many boarding and rover experiences in 20 years of dog ownership I highly recommend Tami and her family for your pet sitting needs.
Tami was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They loved staying with her. Tami was great at communicating and routinely gave us updates on their stay. We will be using Tami in the future.
I am so glad to have found Tami on the Rover app to care for Aria. We have not had great luck in the past boarding her and this was a positive experience for both Aria and me and my boyfriend. Tami’s home is beautiful neat and clean. She has a very easy relaxed personality and her little girl is a delight. Through Aria’s stay Tammy kept us updated with texts and lots of photos. That helped relieve our anxiety over how she was doing. When we picked Aria up she was happy and having a great time. We will return and thrilled with the loving care.
I highly recommend tami as a dog sitter. I experienced a series of unfortunate events surrounding my trip but tami was extremely accommodating and kind throughout the whole experience. She really went above and beyond and I can’t thank her enough for her help. I got consistent updates and photos. My dog almost didn’t want to leave! Tami and her family are not only great and trustworthy dog sitters, but fantastic human beings. Your dog is in good hands with her!

Schedule
I am home all day to watch and play with your pet. I rarely leave but when I sometimes have to leave for short periods, your dog will be very comfortable in our large dog crates with comfortable padded beds.

Safety, trust & environment
Our family loves dogs and your pet will receive alot of attention and exercise. During the day they can be outside playing in the fenced area (**see above) or just hang out inside with our family, and in the evenings all dogs sleep inside the house with us. We do use crates at night for dogs that are used to that and we provide soft dog bedding in the crates. Dogs that do not prefer crates sleep on dog beds in our bedrooms so they never feel alone.

We will play and exercise your dog daily. We have a large yard area (**see above) and we will take them for walks to visit the neighbors cows.
