I'm currently a pet parent of two dogs and a tortoise. I volunteer at a dog rescue, and there are rabbits and rodents in my pet history. I'm ready to make new pet friends with walks, ear scratches, and tummy rubs.

We had scheduled Tami to watch our cats for 2 weeks while we were out of town. I scheduled her to come this past Saturday to introduce her to the cats & show her what they need (this was a paid visit). Before she left, we asked if she was ok sending us a photo of her id, because we don't know her & she has a key and access to the house. We also offered to send her a photo of our id's. She agreed, said this would be fine and sent us a photo. She called me this morning (Monday) and rudely let me know that she was very uncomfortable with us asking for the photo of the id and that she'd like to cancel the visit. She said that Rover does back ground checks and that this should have been sufficient. No apology for the last minute cancellation or inconvenience (we leave in a week and a half). I'll say that I've never used a pet sitting service, so I was unaware of how things go with this site. Rover only provides a first name for the sitter, no phone number or last name. So, we have no idea who this person is. So this review is not only for Tami, it's also for Rover. I'll never be using this site again.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible; I am available through the day on both weekdays and weekends. I understand the unexpected happens-- requests with short notice aren't a problem.
