Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I care for my own pets each day, including my two cats, bearded dragon, and chickens, so feeding, cleaning, playtime, and giving animals attention are things I truly enjoy doing. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide reliable visits, walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention for your pets. I love spending time with animals and am happy to adjust to your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal routine and providing the care they’re used to receiving from their family. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. For cats, I am experienced with feeding, brushing, playing, and keeping litter boxes clean and fresh. I understand that some cats love attention while others prefer quiet companionship, and I’m happy to adapt to each cat’s personality and needs. For dogs, I provide walks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection and attention. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I will care for your pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best care possible. It’s helpful to know about feeding schedules, favorite toys and activities, medications, allergies, exercise needs, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. I also like to know what makes your pet feel most comfortable, whether that’s extra playtime, quiet companionship, or a favorite treat or routine. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for while keeping their routine as normal as possible while you’re away.
A typical day
I love making sure pets have fun and stay engaged while their families are away! For dogs, that can include walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, exploring new smells on walks, or simply spending time giving belly rubs and attention. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, laser pointers, feather wands, and giving them affection and companionship if they enjoy cuddles and pets. I always pay attention to each pet’s personality and energy level so I can provide activities they enjoy and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved during my visits.
