I’m a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to care for your pets during the day/at night just as you would if you were home! I can adjust our schedule to fit your pets needs so they feel right at home and stay on routine.

We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your furry friend to play and two active pups who love a play date with friends. All interactions with your pets and ours will be closely monitored to ensure everyone’s safety. I will get information from you about your preferences and schedule for your pet so I can mirror that while they are staying in our home. I will do everything possible to make your pet happy and comfortable while you are away!

I do not have a breed preference although I’m a sucker for a small dog. Big dogs have a huge place in my heart as well. I need to know how your pet reacts with having their leash taken on and off, how they interact with other animals, how will they do on car rides, etc. I’ll also ask you about their typical day at your home as well as their feeding schedule to make sure I am able to make them feel at home while they are here.

We will go on walks in the neighborhood, dog parks or even hiking if that is something you are okay with. We will learn new tricks, I will encourage positive interaction with other animals in a very safe and structured way in addition to helping them work off their extra energy. Pets are welcome on our furniture if they want a break from play or even if they are just a major couch potato!

I’ve loved animals since before I could walk and I’ve spent a lifetime caring for them. Having worked for the CASPCA I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about what it means for our pets to truly thrive and what they need to lead happy healthy lives. Our family treats your pet like they’re our own and make him/her feel right at home. They will spend their days with tons of enrichment activities; daily walks, tons of play time and endless snuggles if they’ll let me and so much more. This is my passion, loving animals and helping people. What more could you ask for? I would absolutely love a chance to chat with you and answer any questions you have.

I am so blessed to have found Tamara and double blessed that she lives so close to me. Perry took to her right away and he loves her dog Ollie. I am so happy that my baby now has somewhere to go and have some interaction during the week. I’m excited to have a learn long-term caregiver for Perry.

Baby had a great time!
Tamara took great care of Ollie for over a week while we were out of town. She kept us up to date with photos and promptly responded to texts. He enjoyed staying with the family and being around kids. We are thankful for such good care.
