My hours vary Monday-Friday with work. My start time ranges between 6am-9am, and ends 8hrs after that. When I work in Comox, I can let your dog out on my lunch break. However, I cannot do that when I'm working in Campbell River, so they'd have to be okay with being left alone for 8hrs until my husband can let them out on those days. I'll be sure to let you know!

My place isn't pet friendly so I unfortunately cannot have your pet over. However, house sitting will involve plenty of walks and couch snuggles! On weekends, my husband and I usually get outside, hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking even (if your dog is a trail dog!), so let us know if that's something your pet would be up to doing.

A typical day
Weekends involve hikes, while rainy days will consist of plenty of couch snuggles and games of tug-o-war. As a dog lover through and through, I can promise your pet will get the attention they need and deserve. As an added bonus, my husband will often tag along too so double the stimulation and love for your pet!

Hi there, my name is Tamara! It's nice to meet you. I'm a registered diagnostic medical sonographer that works between the hospitals in Comox Valley & in Campbell River. My work involves creating a connection with people, a love of anatomy.... and sitting in a dark room for 8 hours a day! Taking care of your furry friend not only means they get their beloved outdoor time, but I get mine too. I have grown up around dogs most of my life, and look forward to the day I can adopt my own. Until then, I'm so grateful for the connections I get to make with your furry family member, and to help you find peace of mind while they're in my hands. Please let me know, if it's ever a weekend visit, if you'd like me to take your dog for a hike. My husband and I like to get outdoors on our days off, and will happily take your dog along if you think they could really burn off some energy. I have experience in training as well, so if there's certain commands or habits you're trying to reach your dog, let me know so I can continue that work while they're with me. I'm comfortable with medication too, as my family dog is in his senior years (14 years young!) and requires the odd medication when his age shows. !!Currently located: Comox

Tamara did an excellent job taking care of my cat and my home while I was away. She was respectful, friendly, easy to communicate with, and always quick to respond to messages. She also sent me pictures of my cat, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a happy cat and a well-looked-after house. Tamara and Luke were a wonderful find. They were fantastic with our pup and regularly sent us pictures and updates on what they had been up to. They also left our home very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them for in-house dog sitting services and great for walks if you pup loves a good hike. Thank you Tamara and Luke!
