A typical day with me includes plenty of activity, enrichment, and affection. Dogs enjoy long, safe walks—whether it’s a beach stroll with fresh ocean air or a neighborhood adventure with lots to sniff and explore. After exercise, we keep minds engaged with treat puzzles and playtime tailored to their energy level. Cats and pups alike get plenty of love and attention throughout the day, along with calm downtime to rest and recharge. Every visit balances structure with fun, so pets feel both secure and happy while you’re away

As an ex-military professional woman in my mid-40s, I bring the perfect mix of discipline, responsibility, and genuine affection to dog care. Dogs thrive when they feel both secure and loved, and I make sure they get both. With experience in Schutzhund training, I have a deep understanding of drive, focus, and structure in working dogs. I’m also confident handling reactive dogs—helping them feel calm, safe, and understood. Over the years, I’ve shared my life with Dutch Shepherds, Anatolian Shepherds, and now my own fuzzy beast, a Chow/Rottweiler mix—so large breeds and strong personalities don’t faze me. Whether your pup needs structured exercise, clear boundaries, or just a steady and reliable companion, I tailor care to their temperament. You’ll get regular updates and photos, so you’ll always know your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. My mission is simple: happy, balanced dogs and peace of mind for their humans.

I was very hesitant to book a sitter for Juno because he is reactive and not an easy dog to care for. Tamara was amazing with following my instructions, sent lots of picture and video updates, and was very transparent throughout the entire process. I felt a lot more comfortable with Juno in her care and would not hesitate to book her again! Highly recommend for owners who are picky with sitters because they have difficult dogs.
