Hi there! I'm Tamara, a part - time writer looking to spend my time doing what I've always loved: taking care of animals. My professional experience with animals started when I was young and volunteered for the SPCA, and I have been offering my services as a pet sitter both on and off Rover for about 8 years now. I've also had many pets of my own over my lifetime, including cats, dogs, and rodents! I'm 29, a non-smoker, and spend a lot more time cozy at home than out and about. I love going on walks ( much more fun with dogs ) and tend to be very neat.

I will always go over the specifics for anyone's home, making sure that I am aware of any concerns, off - limits areas, or health issues your pets have. I have no problem adjusting to any hours your pet may need attention or special care, and have experience administering various types of medication!

We can’t thank Tamara enough for looking after our dog Izzy. She managed some complicated medications that were needed daily and also worked through the anxiety episodes during the multiple thunder storms. Our home was left in perfect order. She communicated with pictures and reports daily. Izzy was looking for her after we came home which speaks to the bond she formed with Izzy over the two weeks. We would definitely have Tamara back with Izzy next time we go away.
Tamara was an awesome sitter for our high energy sweet golden retriever! Tamera always kept in communication with us and sent photos! We came home to a very happy dog that one could tell she had been well looked after!💕
It's always a pleasure having Tamara look after our pets while away as she's very trustworthy, our pets love her, and we can feel at ease on vacation!
Tamara is an excellent pet sitter. Both my dog and cat acted like we were never out for the day, let alone a week! It was very relaxing knowing that my pets were well cared for while away. Tamara was wonderful to meet and organize to take care of my kitty who is nervous and shy with new people but Tamara took the time to allow my kitty to warm up in her own time. (Which was in record-breaking time :)

I do freelance art and writing from home, meaning I can fit myself into any schedule that works for you and make sure your fur - family has a friend all day!

- No breed preferences! I would love to know any nearby places they like to walk, and special dietary habits/treats, if they need medicine and how to administer it if needed. If there is any specific schedule to keep them on or behavior quirks that might need attention ( such as unique signs they want to go out or be fed ). Of they need any help with certain tasks and whether or not they're allowed on furniture would be good too!
