I do work full time day shift as a nurse 3 days a week. My kids who are very experienced with caring for dogs help out when I have to be at work. We take great pride in making sure your dog feels like a part of our family while they are with us.

I do have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love to play as well. I do my best to keep your fur baby on whatever schedule they are used to at home. They stay in the house with us for lots of play and snuggle time. We take regular walks at the park, around town, and sometimes at Georgetown lake. If I am doing drop in visits, I try to stay with your fur baby and keep them company as long as I can. The long days home alone can be rough and I want them to get as much love as possible. I will take them on walks and have play time with them in your home.

All breeds accepted!! Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any aggression towards other animals. Bring with your dog any of their favorite toys, crate if that is what they are used to sleeping in, food, leash, and a sweatshirt or blanket from home that smells like you to help with separation anxiety.
A typical day
We go for walks around town and at Washoe Park as long as the weather is nice. I have lots of toys and tennis balls to play with.

My name is Tamara. I’m a nurse and mother of 2 age 18 and 25! I’m an avid pet lover! I started caring for others pets after struggling finding good care for my pets. My pets are my family and I didn’t like sending them to a kennel to be boarded! My animals needed love and affection everyday! The stress in finding a good place for my pets to stay when I was away was real! I decided that I would love to help others that may struggle with the same problem. So relax! Your pets will be loved and cared for! I love to spend time playing with and walking your pet! Is your pet a snuggler? No problem! Plenty of snuggles here! I have a lot of experience with dogs. I can handle the shy ones and the roudy ones! Some families have their pets on schedules. I’m happy to follow your schedule here as well. I’m looking forward to getting to know and care for your fur babies! I will also send picture updates to set your mind at ease. I can message you daily with a summary of the day if you desire. I do live in Anconda, so if you are wanting drop in visits I usually only do those locally. I will do them in Opportunity and Georgetown lake area as well. At times I will set my profile to away because I have some regular clients that will keep me busy. If my profile is set to away and I have watched your fur baby before please still feel free to send me a message, as I may still be able to accommodate you. . If I have not watched your fur baby before, you can still send me a message and I will get back with you.

Tami was wonderful! We needed a dog sitter with short notice and she was quick to respond. It was our first time using Rover for pet-sitting and Tami made the process easy for us. She is super communicative and sent us update texts and photos. It is also very clear she is experienced. Our pup was slow to warm up to a new person but Tami was patient and gave her the time and space she needed to get comfortable. It didn’t take long before they were playing together. Tami is at the top of our list for the next time we need a pet sitter!
We have used Tamara several times! Every time she does a great job. Always going above and beyond. It gives us great piece of mind knowing that the cats and everything at home is so well taken care of while we are gone!!!
