Please let me know: * Their usual daily routine, including feeding and walk times. * Any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or dietary requirements. * Their personality, likes, dislikes, and favourite toys or activities. * Whether they’re comfortable around other dogs, people, or children. * Any training cues, commands, or behaviours I should be aware of. * Any fears or anxieties (such as fireworks, loud noises, or being left alone). * Emergency contact details and your preferred veterinary practice. The more I know about your dog beforehand, the easier it is for me to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible and give them all the love, care, and attention they deserve.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I always tailor the day to suit their individual needs, routine, and personality. My priority is making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved from the moment they arrive. The day starts with toilet breaks, breakfast (following your dog’s usual routine), and plenty of affection to help them settle in. Throughout the day there’ll be walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and lots of one-to-one attention. If your dog enjoys socialising, we’ll have fun together, and if they prefer a quieter pace, I’m equally happy to provide a calm, relaxing environment. Puppies receive plenty of encouragement, gentle training, and opportunities to learn through positive reinforcement. Senior dogs are given all the time, patience, and comfort they need, with slower walks, regular rest breaks, and medication administered if required and instructed by you. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, well cared for, and being treated like one of the family.

Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them genuinely brings me so much happiness. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, so my priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away. I welcomed my first Chihuahua puppy when I was 29, and two years later added another little Chihuahua to the family. Raising them from puppies taught me the importance of patience, routine, positive reinforcement, and lots of love. I particularly enjoy caring for puppies, helping them build confidence, continue their training, and burn off all that wonderful puppy energy. I also have a very special place in my heart for senior dogs. My beloved Chihuahua, Maggie, is now a senior, so I understand the extra care, gentleness, and attention older dogs often need. Whether that’s administering medication (if required), taking slower walks, sticking to established routines, or simply offering plenty of comfort and companionship, I’m committed to making them feel happy and secure. Every dog I care for is treated like family. I’ll happily keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your best friend is receiving plenty of cuddles, attention, exercise, and personalised care. Whether your dog is a tiny puppy, a playful adult, or a cherished senior, I’d love the opportunity to look after them and make them feel right at home.
