Currently unemployed, seeking part time work, so that I will still have time to do this occasional job as well. I will be starting post secondary studies in the next few months, classroom time is 4 hours per day, leaving time for me to come and visit/walk your pet. I can come and visit your pet up to twice a day if needed. I do not sleep over in your home. I do not do visits/walks outside the KW area.

Safety, trust & environment
For dog walking, here is my usual routine. I enter the door say hello to the pet, grab their leash, poop bags, and then prepare the pet for their walk. Put on clothes or boots if needed, collar and leash, then off we go!
Information Tamara K. would like to know about your pet
I offer a free meet and greet. You get to meet me, I get to meet you, and most importantly I get to meet your pet. You get to show me where the pet things are and how you like them returned after use. I look forward to discussing more in person. New to Rover? I have a code for $20 off your first visit. I have been police checked by Rover.
A typical day
This is my routine when I visit a person’s home to visit their cat/dog. I announce my arrival to the kitties. If there’s a package for you at the door I bring that inside. Shut and lock the door. I remove my outside shoes and put on my slippers. I then do a whole home inspection, looking for any hairballs, accidents, broken trinkets, and anything else (robbers). If anything is found, then I clean that up, following your cleaning instructions. I then move onto litter box maintenance; cleaning, washing, and top off, following your instructions for frequency of litter box maintenance. I dispose of the trash appropriately, and wash my hands. Hopefully by then the cat(s) have come out of hiding and are ready for some cuddles, play time and of course a small treat or two that you provide. When it’s about 5 minutes before I have to go, I will medicate the cat if needed, and feed them. I do a head count to make sure that all cats are inside. While the kitties are eating, I go back to the door, change into my outside shoes and take my slippers with me. I leave and lock the door behind me.

Pet care experience
Over 30 years of being a cat Mom, while also looking after cats for family and friends in their homes. I have experience giving medications, pills and injections. Litter boxes don’t scare me one bit! I know how to bathe a cat in 20 minutes with low stress for the cat and next to no scratches for me. I also know how to groom cats, and can do nail trims. I have a number of different techniques to play with the kitties. I love animals, especially cats, and totally understand cats, their moods and a cat’s cantankerous ways. I once had a golden retriever who was my kid for 12 years. Lovely dog. She crossed rainbow bridge in 2014, gone but not forgotten.

Reviews
Hello. I have know Tamara since 2004. I have seen her with her puppy Peanut . She looked after him with love and affection. We also both have a love for cats .
I have known Tamara for over 20 years. She will treat your pet kindly and love them as much as she loves her own pets. She’s gentle and moves at the speed of the pet. She’s a very honest person. I had Tamara cat sit for me, somehow my cat found some money $5, and Tamara left it on the counter for me.
