I've spent my entire life caring for animals - over the years I've looked after more than 20–30 dogs and cats, each with their own personality and needs. That experience has taught me patience, empathy, and a deep respect for every animal I care for. Now I share my home with Teddy, my sweet Aussiedor who is incredibly friendly with both dogs and cats. My home is calm, safe, and full of love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Why book with me: My home sits on a fully fenced yard with nearly 3,700 sqft of outdoor space - one of the largest private yards you'll find in Natomas. Your dog will have room to run, explore, and play freely in a safe, secure environment. I work from home, which means your dog is never left alone for long. I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar and comfortable. I also believe in giving back - I donate 25% of every booking to an Animal Shelter here in Sacramento or Sri Lanka. At the end of each month I send every client proof of the donation. When you book with me, your dog gets loved & another dog gets a chance.

Tamara was amazing! She took excellent care of Mack - he is high energy and needed medication and Tamara was able to take him out to the dog park and able to give him his medication. She sent multiple pictures which I appreciate. I highly recommend!

Schedule
my work-from-home arrangement offers flexible hours, allowing me to easily adjust my schedule to accommodate your dog's walks. Whether you prefer mornings, midday, or afternoons, I can make it work. However, please do provide me with a day or two's notice in advance, so I can plan accordingly. Just keep in mind that I won't be able to do walks after 8pm. Your dog's well-being is important to me, and I'm excited to work together to ensure they get the exercise they need.

I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s space and stick closely to their normal routine. I keep things clean, calm, and consistent, give regular updates if requested, and always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. Every pet is cared for as if they were my own.

With your permission, Play fetch in the park. Take leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Provide interactive puzzle toys. Give belly rubs and ear scratches. Offer tasty dog-friendly treats. Ensure fresh water and regular feeding. Capture adorable photos for the owner.
