Hi, I'm Tamara! 🐾 I'm a huge dog lover — honestly, a bit of a dog whisperer. All dogs love me, and the feeling is very mutual. I'm starting my own creative business, and I do Rover on the side because it's my favorite way to earn extra income: fresh air, exercise, and spending my day with dogs instead of behind a desk. Best side gig ever, as far as I'm concerned. A little about me: • 20 years of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities • My dog Alexis sometimes tags along on sits — she came with me to a client's house once because I had no one to watch her, and she and their dog became best friends. Now her owner and I go on walks together. Alexis doesn't have to come, but she's a great play-date buddy if your pup wants a friend. • I send lots of updates and photos, because I know that's the best part of your day too. What you can expect: a tired, happy, well-cared-for dog — and someone who genuinely loves doing this. Your pup won't just get a walk, they'll get a new favorite person. Can't wait to meet your dog!

Tamara is a nice person but not a skilled sitter. We returned home to find a lot of damages and a very unclean house. She had forgotten to change the cat litter for days which led to the cat peeing on all the beds, pillows, silk couches. After spending hundreds of dollars, we have not been able to get rid of the stench and will have to get rid of all. The dishwasher buttons were damaged, possibly by her using something sharp as her nails, which has left us with the option to replace the new/ rarely used dishwasher. Dirty used dishes put back among clean dishes, used all our personal towels without asking us,dryer with lint holder packed with lint( fire hazard),spoiled food left in oven and refrigerator, detergent spilled all over laundry room cabinets are some of the tpets. She did not follow the instructions and almost got the dogs in a fight. She ate things from our pantry and refrigerator without asking. There was a lot of dog pee under the couches which appears that she missed cleaning while she must have cleaned the floors. Chewed up walls and doors, cigarette butts in the yard, complaints by neighbors on dog poop not being picked up, barking dogs for being left out. During our stay we had to send her multiple reminders. Only to now realize that she was texting us not on her Rover number but a personal cell. When we pointed all all the issues, she blamed us for paying her less. I had to inform her that we paid her what she posted on Rover. There was no apology or remorse. I would not suggest anyone to hire her. Our bills from the repairs for the damages in now in thousands. One cannot trust her to care for the house or the pets. We have never had this experience in our life with Rover for the past 15 years we have been using Rover.

Schedule
I work from home as a freelancer, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m around throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and plenty of attention. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break or extra playtime, I can easily adjust to their routine. I’m also available for evening and weekend visits to fit your schedule.

Safety and comfort are always my priority. I live in a secure apartment with a cozy balcony setup that’s perfect for fresh air and cuddle breaks. For walks and exercise, I’m right next to a large neighborhood park, so pups get plenty of safe outdoor time and stimulation. I always use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, and I can accommodate crate routines or special instructions as needed. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
A typical day includes morning walks and park adventures — I live right next to a large green space that’s perfect for exploring, sniffing, and stretching those legs. Between outings, I’m home working as a freelancer, so there’s plenty of time for enrichment toys, play sessions, and cozy breaks throughout the day. In the evenings, we usually wind down with another stroll or some quiet cuddle time on the balcony for fresh air and sunset views. Every pet gets a balance of activity, stimulation, and relaxation to keep them happy and comfortable.
