I am currently working full time Sunday thru Wednesday most weeks so I am available Thursday thru Saturday fairly consistently for drop ins and walks.

I have years of experience both personally and professionally caring for animals of all kinds, in a variety of environments. I always make sure gates and doors are closed to avoid someone getting loose or going somewhere the owners don't want them to go. On walks I am very observant of my surroundings and take every precaution to ensure your animals are safe and have a great time. At home I love to know where their toys or favorite snuggle spots are so we can make the most of the time I'm caring for them.

I love to know the dog's routine, what he/she enjoys and also the things they don't appreciate. Some dogs want to play fetch or run or walk or wrestle for hours, others want to just relax :) I like to know what the dog wants and needs, along with their parents. I love every breed and size of dog equally, they're all individuals with their own unique personality and quirks.
A typical day
I love every type of dog there is. Old and grouchy, shy and timid, young and endlessly rowdy, calm and cuddly. I will take them around the neighborhood to have all the sniffs, cuddle on the couch, play fetch. Whatever they love to do!

Pet care experience
I'm what my friends call the "crazy animal person". Dogs, cats, horses, snakes... You name it, I love it and love to care for them. I adore every breed, age, and size of dog. But I have a soft spot for the ones who are a handful or get a bad rap, such as herding breeds, bully breeds, Chihuahuas, etc. I took a veterinary assistant course at a tech center in high school, where I learned much about the care of small mammals, birds, and exotic pets. I have both personally and professionally cared for a variety of pets for many years, and have loved every second of it! I've worked in two boarding facilities, mostly caring for dogs and cats. I volunteered at a sanctuary farm for years, working with any and every farm animal you can think of. I am trained in administering oral medications as well as injections, insulin included. I currently have 2 dogs and a gaggle of cats and ducks of my own who are my entire world. I treat every pet the way I want mine to be treated, with all the love and care I have to give.
