. When walking cats or dogs I’m always keeping an eye in the weather! Always having water and a bowl, because I understand some pets only drink water on bowl and not things like cups or the bottle it sell. Before having the animal step outside, I put my hand in the ground and If I cannot keep my hand on the ground for five seconds with out it being too hot or too cold the pet has to have small pet shoes that protects them. When inside a home, I evaluate what objects and even toys can be dangerous for the dog or cats! There are foods and even toys that are marketed towards pet owners but are not the best choices ! I make sure their nails and teeth care is unpoint! However, I’m not a groomer so there is just a bit that I can do for you which is advice you ! But if your dog or cat is gentle enough I can do it. However, be aware I can definitely do it on puppies due to the fact that their bites won’t be as harmful and it’s good to teach them at that age so that they give groomers an easier time! Also, I will ask you about any known allergies, conditions and trauma. If you are comfortable, I would like to check the stoves( if it is a gas one) for any potential gas leaks by just making sure it’s off and making sure that in the summer the heater is not on or that in the winter the ac is not on. Of course we cannot forget about play time ! And sleep time if they need it!
Information Tamara A. would like to know about your pet
I would appreciate if I’m told ahead of time things that make the dog uncomfortable, allergies, medical conditions and if there are any issues that have not been reviewed by a vet yet, but you are keeping an eye on.
A typical day
The fun activities generally depend on the dog, what is most appealing for the dog. However, going on runs, playing games that involves a lot of movements. For senior dog calm walks, if they like water having a small pool with water.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I moved to the U.S when I was ten years old. I used to live in Puerto Rico, where there are a lot stray dogs and cats. Since little I remember doing research on foods I could give them to feed them. With my knowledge I would feed them! I also have a senior dog that I’ve had since 2011, and he is my life ! I genuinely love taking care of him and I when I’m traveling I do feel anxious and nervous of him not being with me. Therefore, I understand your worries when it comes to finding somebody who take cares of your pets. I’ve cut nails of my friend’s pets and bath, as well as walk and fed. I also know how to cook, so if your pets eat a food that has to be cooked I can do that for you!
Reviews

Tamara was wonderful with our two pups. She showered them with warm attention, and kept us regularly updated with pictures during her stay with them. I felt completely comfortable with them in her care.

Tamara was so attentive to our pets and she sent us so many photos and check-ins!! We will definitely ask her to come back in the future. Thank you so much for taking such great care of them.
I was extremely anxious about leaving my dogs, but Tamara immediately put my mind at ease with her constant updates and pictures. She was attentive to my elderly dogs' needs and found thoughtful ways to soothe and comfort them. Thanks to Tamara's dedication and genuine care, I was able to fully enjoy my trip without any worries about my dogs' wellbeing.

Tamara was wonderful. Kind and caring for the dogs, and tidy and respectful of our home. The pups loved her and slept cozied up to her at night. Lots of pics to let us know how things were going.
