In my home, I take a dog out regularly for walking and potty. I give a ton of love and attention (depending on the dog - I leave them be if that's what they want). I always keep the water bowl full and feed on a consistent schedule, according to what the dog is used to. On a walk, I choose the route but let the dog have time to stop and sniff because sometimes dogs need a lot of time to find the perfect potty spot. I always communicate with another dog owner before letting two dogs greet each other on a walk. We make sure to stop before crossing the street and find spots with a ton of grassy area for the dog to explore and sniff around. If it's hot, I'll bring water and stay in the shade.

Information Tallulah K. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know your pet's routine so I can keep their day as familiar to them as possible, as well as what their boundaries around food and other dogs is (in case we run into other dogs on walks). Do they get treats? What are their favorite toys?

A typical day

Walk, breakfast, some cuddles, rinse and repeat! I like to go on long walks where dogs have plenty of opportunity to sniff. I also love to take breaks from working from home to pet and play with dogs.

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs and have been fostering and dog sitting since January 2022. I enjoy dog sitting because I love how each dog is unique and perfect and I love to get to know their fun, goofy personalities. I want to help you give your dog the best care possible and keep some much needed dog love in my own life. I will treat your dogs as if they are my own and give your pet the best possible care.

We’ve trusted Tallulah to care for our cat for the past two years, and she has been great. She is reliable, kind, and truly cares about our cat’s well-being. She is able to give our cat his medication giving us complete peace of mind whenever we’re away. She keeps us updated, is easy to communicate with, and always goes above and beyond to make sure our cat is comfortable and happy. After two years of consistently excellent care, we can confidently say she’s someone we trust completely. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and experienced pet sitter, and we’ll absolutely continue booking with her.

I can tell my cats were fed because there was 15 meals worth of dirty forks and all their dirty dishes, along with smatterings of dried cat food, all over the sink as well. That was bad enough, but my whole house smells of cat pee. I have had a litter robot for over two years and never had a smell so bad, even after going away for a week with windows closed. I also found cat vomit in several spots, which hasn’t happened before either. To be fair, early on our trip she said the litter robot was acting up and that the cats had peed on a plastic mat - but she said it was working fine within a day and that she’d cleaned the mats. We’ve had other Rover sitters for a similar time frame and no one has left the place so neglected. I knew my cats were unlikely to come out, but most Rover sitters make an effort to at least look for them and often notice other issues when they do.
