Hi there! I am a former full-time pet care provider, now focusing on hanging out with kitties as an added bonus to my full-time job at a Coralville nonprofit 😊 I have had 3 lovely years on Rover so far. Through that, I have been able to connect with and learn from so many different cats and pet parents! I’m well versed in sitting cats of all kinds - from shy hiders to cuddle monsters 😁 I’m happy to follow a cat’s lead and pet, play, brush, and cuddle as much as they would like, or to just make sure they have what they need and give them all the space they want! In addition to my years spent with cats & dogs on Rover, I care for some handsome kitties of my own (Atticus & Leo, my beautiful boys!!). Additionally, I regularly have drop-in visits arranged for my cats when I travel myself - so I know what’s important for a good pet sitter :) I am experienced in giving cats medication in pill, liquid, and subcutaneous injection form, and do so at no extra charge. I have experience with pet emergencies (i.e. dog bitten by loose dog, cat with suddenly no appetite) and taking furry clients to emergency vet visits. In these events, my first call will be to you (or your secondary/ emergency contact if I am unable to get in touch), so we can decide what course of action would be best. Even if it may seem minor, I always prefer and am prepared to bring your pet to the vet to ensure they are receiving all the care they may need.

When caring for another’s pet, I’m sure to follow the specific needs of the pet and expectations of the owner, as well as respect the home that I am entering. I’m careful to follow instructions and leave homes how I found them! No need to be shy if you have a very specific routine for me to follow! Also — I’m fully vaccinated and happy to follow any safety standards you wish to have in place.

Tallie has been great watching my cat! She’s very thorough with pet care and attention. She asks great questions and keeps track of anything that may need to be done. This is the second time she’s been to our home and I will continue to use her!

Tallie was so great with my girl kitty. She opened up to Tallie by day 2 and I could tell my cat was looking forward to seeing her again. Tallie is so knowledgeable about cat behaviors and followed all of our instructions precisely. Great communicator, enthusiastic, and gentle. I feel confident leaving my kitty in Tallie’s care while I’m away. I look forward to re-booking with her again!
Tallie was amazing!! She kept us up to date on everything that happened with our two cats as they are a little mischievous and this was their first time alone without us ever. Not only did she keep us updated she also cleaned anything that they messed up or where messing with along with removing the problem after instructions were given by us. She answered every call and actually cared about our cats well being. She was on time and never missed a day she was all around amazing. Will be booking again if needed!!
Very communicative and wanted to make sure with utmost confidence that she is taking care of our cats and follow their schedule the same we would. Would highly recommend!
Tallie has watched our cats for us three times and we couldn’t be happier. Even when we are half way around the world, we never need to worry about our cats because we have total trust in her to care for them as we would. She’s very thorough and is prompt to communicate. We love her report cards as she adds a personal touch from each cat. We highly recommend Tallie!

Schedule
*** Holidays: If there is a single holiday in a multi-day booking, Rover applies the holiday rate to all visits. I will adjust the price of received requests so that only the holiday (like MLK day) are charged with holiday rates. Please feel free to remind me to do this - I don’t always have every holiday on my radar!*** I am available for breakfast & dinner visits, with some availability for afternoons. I generally work my regular job from 8:30am-4pm M-F, but have a flexible schedule and can adjust to a kitty’s schedule. Weekends are cat time anytime! I can typically accommodate bookings on short notice as well.
- CatsTallie can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- I would love to set up a complimentary meet & greet before any visit or walk if possible/ convenient for you. This is a great opportunity to let your pet get a good sniff of me and to discuss all I will need to know. I’m also happy to just go over instructions via messages if that is easier. I would like to know about their temperament and needs, if it is not detailed on your pets profile. I have a list of questions about care instructions I will either take notes on during our visit or go over virtually ahead of time. Please don’t be shy if you have any special notes about your pet - like their favorite hiding places, scratchies spot, shows to watch, dinnertime rituals, etc :)
