Since we have a dog, pet care is already a part of our daily routine! I work from home with Cedar on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and bring her into my dog-friendly office in Fremont on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When at home, she goes for 2 one-mile walks a day. When in the office, she walks a little less than that, but spends the day playing with the other dogs in the office (and your dog can, too!).

Information Talia Z. would like to know about your pet

The safety and comfort of both your dog and my dog, Cedar, is most important to me. We'll want to ensure that our dogs mesh well before accepting any services.

A typical day

We'll go on walks around our neighborhood, where there are trails and fields for dogs to safely meet, smell, and play away from the roads (off-leash, if you feel comfortable with that). There are tons of dogs in our neighborhood that we frequently meet on walks to support socialization. There's also an excellent spot for fetch if your dog is into that. In the house, we have a variety of puzzle toys, a bit of space to run, and a fully enclosed, spacious balcony (that's easy to see and monitor from inside the house) if your dog likes to be outside on his/her own.

Pet care experience

I absolutely love dogs! I grew up with a black lab and helped take care of him, but started as a formal dogsitter for neighbors and friends when I was about 16. My husband, Matt, and I are active people, and walk our 3-year-old, mixed-breed pup, Cedar, around 2 miles a day. Cedar is well-socialized and loves other dogs; we have yet to meet a dog she didn't like. I've looked after dogs of all sizes, including extra large, as well as senior dogs that require both oral and topical medications regularly.

Talia took excellent care of Theo and took some great picture of him during his stay. She kept us updated throughout our vacation. We can tell Theo had an amazing time, we are so happy to have a great sitter like Talia

Talia and her husband were great! My dog, Max deals with anxiety and she was willing to work with him on that, which was really amazing. She was really great on communication even including asking all the necessary questions to make sure they give the best care to Max. He absolutely enjoyed his stay with them. He was actually pretty sad to leave! Would most definitely book and reach back out to them in the future!

Talia is simply fantastic! She has taken care of our elderly dog on several occasions, and her understanding of how unique each dog is truly sets her apart. She tailors her approach based on our dog’s age and specific needs, ensuring everything aligns with our routine. Talia keeps us in the loop with plenty of updates and photos every time she watches our pup. When we return home, our dog is always happy, healthy and a little sad to see Talia go, which speaks volumes. Now that we have a puppy, Talia has seamlessly adjusted to the energy and unpredictability that comes with a younger dog. She listens to our training techniques and applies them while we are out, which has been incredibly helpful. I 100% recommend Talia to care for your dog, regardless of age or breed, if you want someone who will provide love and care while you are away!

Talia is great with our old lab, Sunny, and she is very communicative and friendly. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
