I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and have always jumped at the chance to care for friend’s and family’s dogs - whether that be simply taking them for a walk or caring for them for several days. I’ve helped with the process of training dogs and so have some experience in encouraging obedience, whilst also ensuring maximum fun! A couple years ago I took the opportunity to volunteer at a dog shelter in Peru where I helped with all the dogs’ needs such as maintaining the cleanliness of their living space, feeding them and of course providing them with endless love and cuddles. I’ve always loved dogs of all colours, shapes and sizes but this experience also gave me an appreciation for all dogs’ backgrounds - I am now much more confident with dogs that can be quite stand offish at first, as well as particularly shy or nervous dogs (especially after living with one at my family house for several years!). I’m currently working part-time, so I end up with a lot of free time. I love to spend my time outside anyway so having a furry friend as company would make my day even better! In regard to dog walking I’m more than happy to go for a quick walk round the park or a longer walk into the local countryside - whatever would best satisfy the needs of your dog! I’m l happy to feed and water any dog when necessary and will always ensure their health and well being is my top priority when in my responsibility. I will also always make sure that areas we are walking are dog friendly and am more than happy to play endless fetch games!
