Hey there! My name is Talia, an enthusiastic 20-year-old who is looking to help out you and your pet(s)! Over the years, I have helped out close friends and family with any pet sitting they needed and am looking to expand any help I am able to give. As I have dreamed of working in this field since a kid, I have worked in a couple of veterinary hospitals, one of which I interned at, and was later hired on as a Veterinary Assistant and then, was hired on as a Kennel Technician at a different location. I went through a 3-year program during high school and became a CVA or Certified Veterinary Assistant by time of graduation. Some skills I have obtained include basic animal first aid, basic knowledge of animal behavior, situational awareness of animals wellbeing, and technical skills, which includes but is not limited to: properly handling dogs, administering oral, injectable, topical medications, just to mention a few. My long-term goal is to become a LVT or a Licensed Veterinary Technician, so any and all experience I can get is greatly appreciated.
