Before our first appointment I would love to have a “meet and greet” where we chat about your pet and you can ask me any questions you may have! I typically dedicate up to an hour so we can take our time. Family partnership and communication is important to me so I will only be accepting appointments from clients that set up an initial meet and greet with me. I tailor my care plan, strategies and schedule based on the needs of each family and their pet. Some behavior strategies I use when caring for pets (or human children) include positive reinforcement and redirection. These are some of my practices, but ultimately we will negotiate a care plan that is comfortable for everyone. I believe family partnership is an integral component of high quality care. Health and Safety is my priority when caring for anyone. I value transparency, open-communication and integrity. I strive to provide each family with a detailed description of my experience while caring for your pet. You are guaranteed documentation with every booking including VIDEOS, photos and a narrative that describes our day together. This may include goals we are working on, memorable events and any challenges we may have faced.

Immediate things that come to mind include their daily care routine/schedule, any allergies they may have, feeding schedule, familiar commands and any goals they are currently working on. The list goes on! I am a pretty detail-oriented person myself so I love the details! At the end of the day, I’m confident we will cover most of this at the “meet and greet” together!
A typical day
Rain or shine I love to walk so if your pet doesn’t mind getting wet or has rain gear we will make sure to get our steps in for the day! Tell me about your pet’s favorite routes and preferred areas to explore. I love playing indoor activities to stimulate their minds including treat scavenger hunts, learning new tricks, place/stay training and more! Whether you have a cat or dog I am ready to play! I am always thinking about new ideas/activities to stimulate and enrich their minds!

Pet care experience
Being a pet sitter is a cape I proudly wear! I give my WHOLE HEART and undivided attention to every pet in my care. I strive to provide high quality pet care that is RESPONSIVE and TAILORED to each families needs! In addition to my professional experience with pets, I have a Bachelor degree in early education and worked as a teacher for over 12 years. I have great attention to detail when it comes to caring for loved ones who are vulnerable and need your attentive care and advocation. In my free time I love to cook, watch movies, listen to live music, craft, play guitar, crochet and I dabble in photography!

Talat is the MOST caring, communicative, kind, and thorough person we have ever had watch our kitties. Our 2 kitties (8.5M & 17.5F) love their Auntie Talat! They get so much playtime, devoted attention, and care while we're gone to the point where they literally sulked when we got home. Talat stayed in our home for nearly 2 weeks while we had our holiday travels and went lots of photos, videos, and check-ins. Even with our senior gal, we did not worry once. The peace of mind that we receive when Talat is with our kitties is worth more than anything, and we cannot recommend her enough. ❤️
Talat is the best Rover sitter we could’ve asked for! She made sure we had the least stressful vacation and had nothing to worry about with our three cats. It was so nice knowing she was taking good care of them and really paid attention to each of our cats individually. Super detail oriented, clean, follows instructions, and goes above and beyond consistently!! We will 100% ask Talat to catsit again - our cats would probably be mad if we didn’t. I almost thought they liked her more than us! I could go on and on but would definitely recommend. :)
