I like to spend as much time with pets as I can an make sure that they have plenty of time to get their energy out. Depending on their comfortability, I find it works best to be present in their space so they know someone is there for them while their parents are out of town. For non-overnights I check in at least twice a day and spend some time after feedings to keep them company.

I love to keep pets stimulated with playtime and walks, but also really see the value in quiet time and parallel play for pets. Sometimes being a calm energy in the same room is just what they need.
