I am able to tailor care to the individual animal, be it crating if needed or leaving them free-roaming. In my home, my dog was able to be left free-roaming after plenty of time dedicated to training, and the cat had free reign of indoors and outdoors.

A typical day
I had the immense pleasure of training up and exercising my own high energy dog so developed all sorts of creative ways to get energy out be it a game of fetch, hide-and-treat, snuffle mats, or even a game of hide-and-seek with my own pup. My cat always enjoyed a good ribbon to chase and was quite the fan of cuddles. Whatever the need may be, I enjoy finding the best fit for the individual pet.

Pet care experience
I have worked with cats and dogs at an animal rescue in North Carolina for the past two years, giving me the chance to learn how to approach a variety of temperaments (including reactive dogs), breeds, ages and sizes. Additionally, I received training in administering oral medications for dogs and cats. In addition to rescue work, I have my own rescued German Shepherd mix who has joined me in a variety of adventures for the last six years. Before him, I had a lovely orange tabby that was an expert mouser who patrolled my home for 13 years before she crossed the rainbow bridge.
