I have worked with cats and dogs at an animal rescue in North Carolina for the past two years, giving me the chance to learn how to approach a variety of temperaments (including reactive dogs), breeds, ages and sizes. Additionally, I received training in administering oral medications for dogs and cats. In addition to rescue work, I have my own rescued German Shepherd mix who has joined me in a variety of adventures for the last six years. Before him, I had a lovely orange tabby that was an expert mouser who patrolled my home for 13 years before she crossed the rainbow bridge.

I am able to tailor care to the individual animal, be it crating if needed or leaving them free-roaming. In my home, my dog was able to be left free-roaming after plenty of time dedicated to training, and the cat had free reign of indoors and outdoors.

Taisa was absolutely wonderful looking after Elio over several days during our busy summer holidays. Her communication was fantastic throughout, and we loved receiving all the photos and videos. It was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable he was. It was obvious that Taisa really took the time to build a lovely relationship with Elio, and he clearly adored having her visit. We came home to a very happy, calm and content cat, which says everything! We felt completely at ease knowing he was being so well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Taisa and would be delighted to have her look after Elio again. Thank you so much!
Taisa and my very anxious dog got along so well - it was very clear that she's an absolute natural with animals. She was very understanding of my dogs quirks and routines and has been wonderfully communicative throughout, even sent some lovely photos. Can't recommend her enough!
Taisa was an absolutely fantastic cat sitter. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, keeping us updated with lovely messages and brilliant photos that really put our minds at ease. Elio clearly adored her and looked so relaxed and comfortable in her care, which says everything. She looked after him incredibly well, and it was obvious he was getting lots of attention and affection. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Taisa again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable cat sitter.
I highly recommend Taisa as a pet caregiver. I had the opportunity to work with her at a humane society, where I saw firsthand how compassionate, patient, and dedicated she is with animals. She genuinely loves all animals and treats each one with kindness and respect. Taisa takes the time to understand their needs and always ensures they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Any pet would be lucky to have her, and I would trust her completely with my own pets.

Schedule
Currently I have flexible time offering me the chance to provide a more varied schedule of care. Mornings and evenings are generally free, and with enough notice I am also available for weekend care.
