Attentive, flexible, and versatile
I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, and I try to leave every home a little better than I found it. I have taken care of my family’s dogs since I was 5 years old. I now care for my 4 y/o beagle-terrier mix, Rosie, on a regular basis. I am also a pet parent of two kitties of my own, Arca and Astrid :) hoping to make that three soon

I live in a very dog-friendly apartment in noma right on H st. There are many convenient locations for frequent bathroom breaks, as well as a nice dog park and a petco within walking distance for socializing and/or getting amenities for your pup! Personally, my cats are much more independent and low maintenance. although I am good with difficult cats and also offer basic grooming services and nail trims!

Taigh was very personable and reliable. He went above and beyond to spend time with our cat and didn’t just feed her and leave. Would definitely recommend!

Taigh accepted watching our cats at the last minute, visited with us in person and then followed through with our care instructions. He left us notes each day. Would hire again.

I am a college grad (philosophy major) currently seeking full-time work while working part-time—I typically work evenings in the service industry, so I am frequently available during the day during conventional work hours. I am also highly flexible and accept same-day bookings whenever I can for your last minute needs! I primarily studied philosophy, neuroscience/psychology, and music in school. and I have passions for reading, self-development, poetry, entrepreneurship and business, philosophy, music-making, art history, visual art, zen meditation and spirituality.

Additionally, in order for me to render the best possible service, it would be very helpful to know the following: - Instructions for accessing your home and for any tasks to carry out during drop-ins or sitting. e.g. If your dog uses a harness or special collar, please be sure to demonstrate (ideally on video) how to take it on and off to ensure they are safe while I walk them! - Any of your pet’s quirky behaviors or idiosyncrasies, favorite toysand activities.
