About Tahreem C.
Safety, trust & environment
I care for Bigo in sections of the day: morning, noon and evening. He’ll roam unleashed in my fenced backyard, I’ll take him on a walk or have a training session, I may play with him and then feed him at each interval. Outside of this time, my family cares and looks after him. He’s usually following my mom around in the kitchen or my dad in the garage or napping in the living room. My brothers play with him whether it’s tug of war, fetch or hide and seek.
Information Tahreem C. would like to know about your pet
Reactivities(my dog will occasionally bark at fast cars), commands(if they have any that’s needed before they eat), health conditions, unhealthy habits(my dog will chew tissue) etc
A typical day
I’m a huge advocate for stimulating dogs both in mind and body which is why I encourage dogs to sniff on walks for as long as they want to. If they need to go back on a sniff, even better. After walks, I finally unleash them into a fenced yard so that they can shrug off the restraint from being leashed. I love chasing them around while they have a toy and playing tug of war. At home, I create treat contraptions that I’ll hide for Bigo to find and figure out. I’ll brush and pet Bigo to sleep but most of the time he likes to sleep isolated which I respect. I’m consistently checking on their water to make sure it’s clean and full.

Pet care experience
I’ve raised Bigo, my pet dog, since he was a was a puppy. Working with him alongside trainers has helped me better understand dog behaviour and body language, specifically working dogs. I train him on my own now and since have been developing my skills reading his body language and responding accordingly, de-escalating overwhelming situations, de-sensitizing him to triggering stimuli such as fast cars and rodents, and building both of our confidence. That being said, I know that each dog requires their own individualized care just as Bigo does which takes understanding, patience, and energy all of which I’ll happily expend in order to meet a given pet’s need.
Reviews
It is my pleasure to recommend Tahreem as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. When I think of Tahreem, I immediately think of her dog, Bego. When Tahreem was in Grade 7, Bego was a surprise brought home by her brother. Although Bego was officially her brother’s dog, Tahreem took on much of the responsibility for training and grooming for him from a young age. What has always stood out to me is how much Tahreem prioritizes Bego’s well being. Throughout the years, despite her busy schedule, she has always made sure that Bego receives the care he needs. She is patient and responsible, and it is clear that caring for animals is something she genuinely enjoys as I've seen throughout the years. I would feel completely comfortable trusting Tahreem with a pet. Her experience caring for Bego, combined with her loving and dependable nature, makes her someone I would confidently recommend to anyone looking for a caring and responsible pet caregiver.
