Loving and experienced dog sitter!
We are a loving family living in Boise and we have a very happy doodle mix who is now 4 years old and a cat who has been with with us for 20 years also a fun 13 YO teenage boy. Growing up I was always surrounded by animals, from chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, goats at my late grandparents' farm. I've been helping friends taking care of their dogs and cats while they're away or when they're busy. We just love being around animals and can't imagine living without them. We allow pets to cuddle with us on the sofa while watching tv or sleeping in bed. We are very particular ourselves to whom we leave our pets with, so we understand what is really important in taking care of another person's pet. I've taken care of puppies and older dogs and have administered medications before also are not afraid to administer injections if needed but with instructions beforehand. I work from home mainly with one short day in the office during the week. We live right next to a dog park and close to Discovery Park, I love walking and running so I'm very happy to go for nice walks with your furry babies. Tahirah and her son took great care of our dog while we were away! We loved getting the pictures of her playing fetch and going on lots of walks. We definitely plan on making them our regular dog sitters!
Tahirah was great - made our dog a part of her family during her stay, sent daily pics to us, organized and available for questions.

Tahirah was great. Flexible with timing, and our dog seemed to enjoy his stay. He's usually a bit stressed out after a stay with a stranger, but he was relaxed and in good spirits after we picked him up.
Tahirah provided our dog with excellent care and was very communicative and sent lots of photos.
Tahirah is a wonderful caregiver and is very accommodating. We appreciated her willingness to adapt to our scheduling needs and the pups loved her.

Schedule
They’ll be walked before I start my day upon waking up around 6 am, they’ll have potty breaks in the yard in between and another long walk after work around 7pm. I’m off Thursdays so we will go hike, get a treat from a pet store. We are an active family and experienced in caring for dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
We only take one or two max to board in our home. They will get plenty of attention, they’ll get two long walks, fetch time and potty breaks in between. Their stay will be like a vacation for pups while you’re away. You’ll get pics and updates daily so you don’t ever have to wonder how they’re doing. Most of my previous clients when we were in Seattle stayed with me until we moved away and most pups wouldn’t want to go home after staying with us 😊
Pets
A typical day
We live near a park where I live taking our dog for a run and daily walks, at weekends we’d walk by the Greenbelt or go for a hike, dogs will get plenty of exercise and cuddles!

- I would like to know the breed and temperament of the dog, and how well he/she gets on with my pets and children. Would also like to know of any special requirements. We love all animals but we are unable to care for certain breeds for our our family's own safety, we've had some close encounters and prefer not have to deal with any issues.
