Pet care fits really naturally into my routine since I already take care of my own 8-month-old cat every day. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so making time for feeding, playtime, cleaning litter boxes, walks, and giving pets attention is something I’m happy to do. As well as taking walks going to parks and playing gives consumes my usual workout time so filling it with hyper hounds is a bonus!

I stick to their normal routines, keep their spaces clean, make sure they’re fed and hydrated, and give them lots of attention and playtime. I’m also comfortable giving medications on schedule when needed and caring for multiple pets at once.

hey just a quick heads up for pet sitting 🐾 I want to know their feeding routine (what they eat, how much, and when), plus any foods they can’t have. stick to their usual schedule for walks, potty breaks, and sleep so they don’t get stressed out. also pay attention to their little habits like if they get anxious, bark a lot, or hide from new people. if they’re on any meds, know exactly when/how to give them and have the vet info just in case. and don’t forget the basics like where everything is, leash rules, and if they’re an “escape artist” 😭 lastly, just know what calms them down favorite toys, spots they like to chill, or anything that makes them feel safe.
A typical day
hey so a typical day w the pets I watch is like 🐾 morning I feed them + fresh water then take dogs on a walk so they can stretch, potty, and get energy out. cats I check litter, give some attention if they want it, and play a bit during the day I check in on them, hang out so they’re not lonely, and do stuff like fetch, tug of war, toys, or letting dogs sniff around outside at night I do another walk or play session, then dinner, then chill time like cuddles, brushing, or just relaxing so they can wind down 💤
