I am so pleased that we found Taelor to board our dog Stokely. We had to find someone at short notice over the 4th of July weekend when our normal boarding company was fully booked. Taelor provided excellent communication during the reservation process and throughout Stokely’s stay. She sent several pictures everyday so we could see all the fun he was having. We will definitely be using her services again!! Thank you Taelor!!!

We had an extremely distressing experience boarding our dog with this sitter. The listing claimed there was only one female dog and one male cat, but after an incident occurred, we discovered there were actually two additional male dogs that were never disclosed. This misrepresentation created an unsafe and stressful environment for our dog. When our dog became agitated, we agreed to the sitter giving something to help calm her. However, after our dog became ill, the sitter refused to tell us what she gave, leaving us unable to get proper veterinary advice. The sitter claimed our dog bit her, but based on what happened, it seemed more like our dog was overwhelmed by the number of animals she was boarding. Shockingly, the sitter did not contact us when the incident occurred; instead, she waited until the next morning, hours after the event, to let us know. Six hours after notifying us—while our dog was reportedly “calm and crated”—the sitter called the police on our dog, apparently in response to us raising concerns about her leaving our dog drugged and confined unattended. Even Rover support expressed surprise at how the situation was handled. This experience was traumatizing for our family and our dog. It exposed a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility. I would never trust this sitter again and urge anyone considering booking with her to reconsider.

Sydney, our lab/mix enjoyed her time with Taelor G. This was our first time using Rover so all the great pics and videos were comforting for us. Great experience and we will try this again!

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I work remotely giving me the flexibility to be present and responsive throughout the day. I'm able to start my mornings with walks, feeding, or playtime, and I can easily take breaks during the day for potty breaks, check-ins, or just to give some love and attention! Since I'm home most of the day, pets are never left along for long, and I can stick closely to their routines. I truly enjoy having pets around, it adds joy to my day, and I prioritize their well-being as part of my schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

My goal is to help you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible while they’re in my care. My approach is rooted in empathy; I take the time to connect with each dog individually, understanding their unique needs and personalities. I’m also highly communicative and happy to provide several updates throughout the day so you feel confident and at ease while you're away. In my home, I have a spacious, fenced-in backyard that provides plenty of room for dogs to play and explore safely. This allows for supervised outdoor time where they can enjoy fresh air and exercise without the risk of running off.

Pets

A typical day

I am a very active person that loves outdoors! I walk a minimum of three miles a day, and I try to go on a hike every weekend. If you have an active pet, then I'd love for them to tag along! If you have a couch potato, then we can go on brief walks for sniffs, and do mental stimulating activities such as lick mats, toys, etc. I have many dog parks near my home, but for liability purposes, I will only take the dogs I'm sitting for in unoccupied parks unless the pet parent has specified otherwise!

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Taelor can host up to 2 pets per night
I would also like to know their sleeping arrangements, and if they are fearful of loud noises, thunderstorms, or fireworks. Please be as transparent as possible. Unfortunately, I will not be able to host dogs that exhibit any kind of aggressive behavior.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
