I am available for pet care throughout the week and have a very flexible weekday schedule. I am able to offer full-time care during weekdays and can structure my day around your pet’s routine to ensure consistency, attention and supervision. I can also accommodate some weekend bookings with advance notice. I drive, which allows me to travel locally and accommodate different locations easily. I prioritise reliability and clear communication, and I am happy to arrange meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure the right fit for both you and your pet.

Pet care experience
I am DBS checked, and have over 14 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats and small animals. I have completed both a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Animal Care & Management, where I developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour, welfare, handling and safety. Alongside my qualifications, I completed work experience at a professional dog day-care facility, working with dogs of all sizes and breeds. This included managing group play, supervising interactions, maintaining safety standards, and handling larger breeds confidently and calmly. I have raised and cared for puppies, including raising a litter, and I currently care for multiple dogs, so I understand the importance of routine, patience and consistency. I am comfortable with leash-trained large dogs and have experience managing reactive behaviours in a controlled and responsible way. I treat every pet as an individual and prioritise their safety, wellbeing and happiness at all times.

Tabitha stopped at our house for a week to look after Buddy and I can’t recommend her enough. From start to finish she was very professional and showed good knowledge about looking after him and kept us updated throughout the stay while we were away in holiday with photos and description of what they’d been up too. If we go away again I will definitely book Tabitha.

After an initial first meeting, Tabitha took Bowie out for a walk. He has not been well due to epilepsy and she was confident to take him having made notes and asked lots of questions. I could see that Bowie liked her, even though he is quite needy and nervous after his fits and increased medication. She sent some lovely photos and said he was well behaved, as he can be grumpy also. I would definitely recommend her, she loves dogs, is very polite and sweet and we are hoping to have great union which will give me some respite in the future.
