I am fully insured, DBS checked, and have over 14 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats and small animals. I have completed both a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Animal Care & Management, where I developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour, welfare, handling and safety. Alongside my qualifications, I completed work experience at a professional dog day-care facility, working with dogs of all sizes and breeds. This included managing group play, supervising interactions, maintaining safety standards, and handling larger breeds confidently and calmly. I have raised and cared for puppies, including raising a litter, and I currently care for multiple dogs, so I understand the importance of routine, patience and consistency. I am comfortable with leash-trained large dogs and have experience managing reactive behaviours in a controlled and responsible way. I treat every pet as an individual and prioritise their safety, wellbeing and happiness at all times.

When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines and any specific care instructions carefully. I prioritise secure walks, safe handling and awareness of surroundings at all times. With my background in Animal Care & Management and experience in professional day-care settings, I understand canine behaviour and group dynamics, allowing me to manage different temperaments calmly and responsibly. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first.

Amazing, would definitely recommend! Tabitha provide really detailed updates about her visits lots of photos. She kept me updated with everything that was going on and replied quickly to any messages that I sent. I appreciate all questions she asked during the meet and greet and took notes on what their daily routine is. Tabitha was an excellent cat-sitter for Lando. She has great attention to detail, even visiting us twice beforehand. She sent very detailed updates and some lovely photos of Lando. I am more than happy to recommend Tabitha.
Tabitha was fantastic with our two greyhounds! She completed a thorough meet and greet beforehand which put us completely at ease. No request was too big or small, and we could not fault her. On the day Tabitha came to look after them, she did everything and more than was requested. An absolutely brilliant sitter, we will always go to Tabitha in the future. We are so grateful to have found her!
Our labrador, Jesse, was going to be alone all day on a very, very hot day. It was great that Tabitha was able to drop in for an hour. She sent photos showing how happy he was and made sure he was settled when she left.

Schedule
I am available for pet care throughout the week and have a very flexible weekday schedule. I am able to offer full-time care during weekdays and can structure my day around your pet’s routine to ensure consistency, attention and supervision. I can also accommodate some weekend bookings with advance notice. I drive, which allows me to travel locally and accommodate different locations easily. I prioritise reliability and clear communication, and I am happy to arrange meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure the right fit for both you and your pet.
