I grew up surrounded by animals, from cats and dogs to rodents, birds, fish, and even horses, sharing my life with animals has shaped who I am. I got my own dog, Kimba, when I was 12 and trained with him for many years at our local dog training school. The bond we built was incredibly special. Once I got Kimba, more dogs made it into the family and suddenly I was regularly walking three dogs. When I later moved away, I made sure Kimba could come with me so we could continue our life together. We spent countless wonderful days exploring Dartmoor and many beaches! Seeing him live his best life meant everything to me. These days, I share my home with my cat Skully, who found his way into my life through the “cat distribution system” 😄 just when I thought I was taking a little break from pet ownership. He turned out to be the most wonderfully unique companion and makes me smile and laugh every single day. While Skully does enjoy the occasional stroll around the block with me, I do miss regular dog walks and spending time with dogs in general. Over the years, I’ve pet-sat for family and friends and have always genuinely enjoyed it. As a freelancer, I now have a flexible schedule, which allows me to offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and the security of your home are very important to me. Before the first visit, I ask owners to share as much information as possible about their pet’s routine, behaviour, and any house rules so I can provide the best care. For example, it’s helpful to know if your pet has a tendency to try to slip out of doors, if there are rooms they’re not allowed in, or if there are specific areas of the home I should check during visits. I will always follow your instructions carefully and make sure doors, gates, and windows are secured before leaving. During each visit I make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and has everything they need. The same applies to my dog walking services. If there is anything worth noting in order for me to keep your dog as safe and comfortable as possible during our walks please let me know .

Tabea is a great pet sitter, very patient and calm with animals and gives them time to get used to her. Our cat Alfie loved her and spending time with her (and we could see that very well from the daily pictures and journals she shared). She is very precise in her job and pays good attention to details. Everything was done exactly as we asked and our cat had everything provided for him. Highly recommended and would definetely rebook again in the future
Tabea provided a fantastic drop-in service for my dog. She was extremely friendly, polite and punctual, and it was clear she’s very knowledgeable and experienced with animals. Tabea has been responsible and caring with animals from a young age. When she got her first dog Kimba at 12, she took full responsibility for his care. She woke up early every morning to walk and feed him before school and continued to care for him diligently throughout her school years, university, and into her first job. She rarely passed this responsibility on to anyone else unless absolutely necessary. Her dedication and commitment towards her dog and all the other animals she grew up with has shaped her into the person she is today. I am a freelancer and I can move my schedule around to accommodate your pets needs. I have a car to enable flexibility or to use in case of an emergency.
