Availability
We homeschool and I work from home so we're home a lot of the time. With that said, we do have lives and go places. I try to be as accommodating as possible, but please keep this in mind. Your pup will be integrated into our household with my own. We're in and out a lot so potty breaks and playtime naturally happen throughout the day.

I provide overnight services out of my home as well as doggy day care. We have a fully fenced yard with an automatic locking gate to keep people from opening it when they come for pickup. When you come to my house, you'll park in my driveway and then enter through a double set of people gates to your left.

Information Tabatha N. would like to know about your pet
A "Meet and Greet" is required for all new clients. Meet and greets take place at my house so if you choose to use my services your dog is familiar with me and my home. Meet and greets are conducted outside only. I no longer give tours of my home to keep it as separate from the business as possible. I've had too many instances of owners not doing a meet and greet and their pets being afraid when they're dropped off without having met me. The only exception I make to this is if someone is coming in from out of town. Then we just do our best to make it work. I consider myself very blessed to have a five star rating on Rover. Many of my clients say that speaks volumes when they go to book me. If, however, you are not comfortable after our meet and greet, you're not going to hurt my feelings if you would rather use someone else. Please just let me know so I don't hold your dogs spot in my schedule. We love all of our doggos, but sometimes your fur baby may need a different environment than I can provide. That's totally okay! You know your pet best. Please do what's best for them! My hours for drop off and pick up are by appointment only. Monday through Friday: 7 am to 8 pm Sunday: 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm **Please note I am open for services on Saturdays, but I do not do drop offs or pick ups. This is my one day off each week that I don't have to be tethered to my house. If there's a need outside of those hours, please let me know ahead of time. If you're running late or have something come up, please contact me ASAP so I can let you know when a good time to come is. Please do not just show up outside of your time frame without checking with me. This has the potential to interfere with other clients that have drop off / pick up times scheduled. If you're later than 8:00 pm picking up your pet, another night will be added to your visit and you can pick them up the following morning. I'm happy to work with you outside of those hours when I can, but my kids go to bed pretty early still. I will need to know the following information about your pet: -Allergies -Required Medications and Administration -Feeding Schedule -Vet Information Please note that if your dog is destructive and you do NOT tell me ahead of time, you will be responsible for compensating me for anything they destroy. I understand the need for our pets to chew on things and happy to meet their need for that. I'm also happy to make sure my items are out of their reach. If you forget to tell me, the total of whatever they destroy will be added to your stay.
A typical day
We have a little over an acre that is fully fenced in. On nice days, I like to go outside and let them run around the yard, throw a ball, or just hang out. Inside, we have a hallway that we sometimes play fetch down, especially if the weather's bad. Your pets can also expect lots of love and snuggling if they like that. I have a sunroom that dogs seem to enjoy laying in especially in the afternoon.

Pet care experience
Please do not use Rovers time frame feature to put in drop off / pick up info. I do not use it. I will not honor times put into this feature on Rover if you use it. See more info below. I have been a dog owner all my life. I have worked in an adoption center, participated in foster / adopt transportations, and have fostered. I have never been able to leave my furry friend with a boarding service for fear that something would happen or he would get lonely. So I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust to take care of him/her until you return. Your pet will be part of our family. I've never been restrictive to my pets so yours will be allowed as much freedom as you would like him/her to have. **Please note: I do NOT go by the time frames that Rover gives you. I have no way of showing my availability for each day, so when you put those in they may not match my actual availability. I will NOT honor those times since I have no control over them. Please make sure we finalize drop off times BEFORE booking a stay with me. I'm happy to work with you while I can for drop-offs and pickups, but there might be times when my schedule is not going to allow me to be as flexible. Right now I'm not currently accepting pick ups or drop offs on Thursday evenings after 5 pm or Sunday mornings. My husband and I are both active with our church and those times are dedicated to that. I'm also closed for drop offs and pick ups on Saturdays all day. While I have guests in my care during that time, it's my one day "off" each week to not be tethered to my house. I do have two children, an ten-year-old and a seven-year-old. Both are used to being around dogs, but for the safety of all involved, I require a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along. Please see additional information about meet and greets below. When we leave the house, I will never leave your pets mixed with other pets. I'm happy to crate your dog if that's what they are used to or they will be given their own room while we're away. I will never leave your dog mixed unsupervised with my dog or other dogs I'm watching. Everyone's safety is my first priority. I can provide my cell so you can get in contact with me at any time. I also provide pictures/videos via text. I'm working on doing better to show them on Rover. One of the things I will tell you from the get go is my house gets a little crazy sometimes. I do my best to provide updates once a day while you're away. I also tell my clients to message me if they haven't heard from me and would like an update. I do my best to be responsive in a timely manner. However, I also expect my clients to understand that I do have a life outside of pet sitting and sometimes that life gets in the way of my being able to respond right away. Please show a little grace when asking for updates on your pet. We love them like our own so they just join in our family life which doesn't always include having my phone glued to my side. I'm a homemaker and homeschool mom. I am around a lot of the time and there is plenty of outside time for my guests. The reason my schedule may look blocked off is because of the time required for my guests, my kiddos, and my job. My husband also works from home full time now. He does assist with the pups sometimes but I do not rely on him for meet and greets, drop offs or pick ups. Crates are not required, but if your dog is used to being crated I can provide for that. I will also crate a dog if they are found to be destructive or are untrustworthy when we are out of the house. I also will not keep dogs that are food aggressive. I separate everyone to feed them because I understand the nature of most dogs is to be protective of food. However, if a dog shows aggression towards another dog when food is present or while we're in the kitchen around people food, that is not something I am comfortable with for safety reasons.
Reviews

Tabatha and her family were great at welcoming our 3 boys, taking care of them, and making them feel like they were at a doggy resort. Her fenced in yard was incredible and they loved it.

We boarded our dog with Tabatha for 9 days & were a little worried about him eating (he sometimes goes on “hunger strike” when he gets boarded). Well we needn’t have worried; he ate like a champ and clearly enjoyed being in Tabatha’s home & playing with her boys. Will definitely use her services again & happily recommend.

Tabatha and her family are always so kind and loving with our Bodhi! We are so thankful for them!

Always takes such good care of our Finn. I always have peace of mind when he is there.
