Hi! I’m a former zookeeper and current PhD student studying animal behavior. I’ve spent years caring for animals with a wide range of needs, temperaments, and medical requirements—so your pet is in calm, capable hands. I’m physically fit and happy to walk or run at whatever pace your dog prefers, including handling large or mobility-limited dogs safely. I’m also comfortable providing medications and supporting senior or special-needs pets. Above all, I pay close attention to behavior and body language, adjusting care to what your pet needs in the moment. I’ve truly never met an animal I didn’t love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not host pets in my own home, as I already have animals, but I’m more than happy to care for pets in their own homes. I approach in-home care with a great deal of respect, recognizing that I am a guest in both your space and your pet’s territory. I’m attentive to creating a low-stress, safe environment for your pet, especially when meeting new animals or caring for shy or cautious pets. I’m also deeply respectful of your home and privacy, and I take the responsibility of being trusted with both very seriously. I’m completely comfortable with pet cameras and frequent check-ins, and I’m happy to provide updates in whatever format you prefer—photos, videos, texts, or messages through Rover. We can always discuss expectations and communication preferences before any services begin.

Tab did a great job! They have previous experience with rabbits which is a plus and gave me peace of mind. My rabbits are usually very shy and do not like new people entering their space so it was good to see photos of them relaxed and accepting treats. Would definitely book again!
Tab was very helpful with my puppy who has separation anxiety and Maddie returned so happy and well walked!

Tab was prompt, flexible and easy going with my puppy who currently has some anxiety. My puppy had a great walk and wasn’t distressed upon returning which was reassuring. Tab communicated very well.

Tab is so wonderful with my pittie mix, Abbie. She can be reactive on walks, but Tab does a great job of keeping her and others safe while they are out for walks in the woods! Abbie is always tired out and happy after a walk with Tab.

Schedule
I have a very flexible graduate student schedule, which allows me to accommodate most weekday and weekend requests. Communication is a top priority for me—if I’m unavailable at a certain time, I’ll be upfront about it and happy to discuss alternative options whenever possible.
