For many years, my husband and I shared our lives with Plumpkin, our sweet senior pup we adopted from a shelter. While she has passed, the experience of raising and caring for her shapes how I welcome every dog into my home. We live in a spacious single-family home with a large outdoor area, giving dogs plenty of room to explore, relax, and play safely. Our neighborhood is safe and pet-friendly, and I’ll always make sure your dog feels cared for, secure, and right at home.

Shanni has been great with our 3year old Bucky! It was clear from day one that Bucky loved spending time with her and was excited to walk together. Shanni was very attentive to Bucky’s body language and made sure he was having a good time.
This was our first time leaving Lucas, needless to say we were more anxious than our anxious doggo. Shanni, her husband, and her doggo Plumpkin made Lucas feel as comfortable as he could, allowing him to make himself at home in their home. With multiple positive updates throughout the day, we were quickly relieved and I truly felt Lucas was in good hands. Shanni even had the magic touch, and our picky eater Lucas had no trouble eating at all during his stay. After this stay, we are definitely less hesitant to leave Lucas when the need arises, and would 100% trust Shanni with Lucas again and again.
Our 60lb rescue dog, Penny, loves staying with Shanni! Shanni takes such good care of her. Shanni makes sure Penny gets to go on multiple walks per day, play fetch, and of course get some dog naps in. Definitely recommend Shanni, who sends lots of photos and updates. Thank you, Shanni!
Shanni is wonderful! She took care of our beloved rescue for an entire weekend (2 nights, 3 days). Shanni and her husband go above and beyond to make sure your dog is care for by sending frequent updates and photos and treating your dog like their own. They are also very accommodating and have a lovely home space and local community for your dog to live their best life while you’re away. I would strongly recommend Shanni for any of your dog sitting needs. Shanni, thanks for taking such great care of Penny! We appreciate you!
Our pup June had an amazing time with Shanni. Shanni coordinated so well with my sister, who picked up and dropped off June for her daycare services. I had no worries about June because she was in such great care. I would highly recommend Shanni and would have her look after June again!! Thank you, Shanni!!:)

Schedule
I work from home at an educational technology company, which gives me a very flexible schedule to accommodate your dog’s routine. My husband and I often traveled when we had our beloved dog, Plumpkin, so I know firsthand how anxious it can feel to be apart from your furry loved one. Because of that, I do everything I can to help you feel comfortable while you’re away: - I’ll send you photo updates every couple of hours so you can see what your pup is up to. - I’ll meet your dog’s specific needs and keep their routine consistent.

- 1. I have three young kids, but I only accept dog sitting when they’re at daycare or not at home. 2. For cleanliness and consistency, I can’t host dogs who want to stay on couches or beds. 3. Please bring everything your pup needs, including food, treats, poop bags, wipes and toys. 4. Daycare: must pick up before 5pm.
