I take extra care when in anyone else’s space, whether that’s your apartment, house, condo, whatever your home looks like, it warrants respect, privacy, and care. I have experience with dogs being put in their cages when left alone, for dinner, or overnight. I also have experience with dogs sleeping in the same square foot I do! (And by that I mean I am their human-sized pillow so they can sleep comfortably haha). All depends on what you prefer, happy to chat about your preferences. This is your pet, your choice. I will respect your requests, just communicate what you expect for your dog/cat/creature and we’ll make sure we’re on the same page so you and your pet are comfortable. Just let me know and I’ll make it happen!

Please let me know of any: - House rules (locks, shoes, parking, etc.) - Pet rules (furniture, off-limits, food/treats etc.) - Their commands: words they know/respond to? - Feeding expectations, timing, other food needs - Medications? Any special needs? - Requests: toys/play they love? Other routines? - Fun facts! Their age, breed, personality, name(s) - Anything I should know in terms of their temperament or behaviour with other humans? Are they shy? Do they nibble? Will they lick me to death? Haha. Any details you have to share - I’d rather have more info than less to better care for your pet. Thank you!!

I love to spend time with the creatures! Having some down time to say hi/play right off the bat is always important to me so the feel safe and have some fun - they deserve it! Of course any must-haves will be taken care of including time to go out/potty, be fed/take meds/water, and cleanup. If they need some company I’m happy to just spend time with them, help get some zoomies out, and just play as if the world revolves around them (because let’s be honest, they think it does). I enjoy spending time with the pets and providing play, company, and their daily needs all the while ensuring their routine and sense of safety is upheld. Hopefully they’ll have so much fun they’ll think their humans are back in no time!

Hello, thanks for considering me to help care for your family! A little about me- I’ve had dogs my whole life. A lovable quirky Golden and quite a few Akitas. I’ve found every dog has unique needs and especially adoptees and rescues, need extra patience and understanding to gain your trust. I like to be mindful and cater to each dog’s individual needs on a case by case basis so they get the best possible care, which they deserve. I am reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own, with care and love. I have experience with both puppies and aging dogs. At any stage in their life I’m happy to do what I can to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I have cared for cats and dogs with daily check ins and in-house care. I feel strongly that both parties be comfortable with the pet care. You, the owners, should feel comfortable with me watching your pet(s) just as I should feel confident watching them. This is not just a way to earn some extra income (while that is important) your pet(s) deserve the best and if we are not a good match both parties are welcome to decline the care if we feel that’s best so your loved one(s), you, and I all feel good about the situation. Communication is key and as I mentioned if either of us feel unsure or unsafe it’s not worth the compensation. I hope this little blurb is not a deterrent but rather an extra layer of assurance why I am a good candidate for your dog(s) by being honest, fair to all parties, and prioritizing everyone’s safety. That being said I’d love to meet you and your four-legged family members! I have experience with a variety of cats, Golden Retrievers, Akitas (up to 130 lbs), German Shepards, Terriers, Boxer-Pit mixes, Labrador’s, and quite a few other mutts. I like dogs, big or small! If there are any specific instructions, medications, specific training commands, check-in requests, or any other requests please let me know! I’m more than happy to work with you to confirm details and instructions and make sure you’re comfortable leaving your little family members, while making the process easy and stress free. Syrena stayed with our dog Pippi for 3 nights and did a fantastic job! She has excellent communication and sent lots of updates and pictures. It gave us such peace of mind to get cute update pictures throughout the days we were gone. Syrena went above and beyond with her thoughtful care, and also left our house very tidy. We really appreciated the detailed notes she provided after her stay, too. I would highly recommend Syrena and would love to book with her again in the future.
Syrena has been fantastic every time she has stayed with my cat Reuben. Great communication and definitely cares about the animals. I’ve had her watch Reuben around 10 times and it has always been a pleasant experience. It’s a great feeling to be able to go on vacation and know that I don’t have to stress about if my cat is being well taken care of or if anything is going on with my apartment while I’m gone. Can’t recommend her enough she’s great!
Syrena has cared for my creatures big and small so many times I’ve lost count! LOVE HER! She has watched over my two cats, my loveable adopted Pitt mix, and my husband’s adopted mutt mix (including his baby- piranha phase!) and my coworkers cat. My husband’s dog and the cats cannot ever be together and Syrena has experience upholding rules and safety measures including keeping pets apart if needed. Syrena has stayed at my home anywhere from a few days to weeks at a time and has cared for the house and creatures as if they were her own. She is respectful, dependable, and overall a good person. Syrena genuinely cares for animals and I recommend her to anyone who wants reliable loving care for their family! Hire her to take care of your four-legged friends”
