Pet care experience

Experienced pet lover

I treat every pet like family. I have hands on experience caring for my own 16 year old dog, so I’m comfortable with the patience and extra attention senior pets often need. I also fostered dogs in college, giving me experience with pets of different personalities and needs. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I currently care for my senior dog every day while doing freelance work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide walks, drop in visits, and attentive care. I’m available throughout the week and can easily accommodate your pet’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard for plenty of outdoor time, a friendly senior dog, dog gates if pets need their own space, carpet that’s great for senior dogs, and lots of toys and healthy treats. If I’m in your home, I’ll stick to your pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality and energy level. We can go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, explore the yard, work on basic tricks for mental stimulation, or enjoy puzzle toys and enrichment games. For senior pets, I’m happy to take things at a slower pace with short strolls, gentle play, and plenty of cuddles and companionship. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and has fun while you’re away.

Before every stay, I’d love to know your pet’s routine, personality, favorite activities, any medical needs, feeding schedule, and any fears or triggers. The more I know about what makes your pet comfortable and happy, the better I can provide care that feels just like home.
