I (Sylvia) grew up with dogs and cats and cared for them since I was young. Micheal grew up with cats and had the pleasure of raising his own husky. We have had lots of experience with all different breeds and sizes of puppies/kittens to older dogs/cats. We have cats of our own and will eventually have a dog again, but for now we get to spend time with the dogs we care for through my business and Rover! Your pets will be treated as if they were our own - with love and care. We will never accept a booking that we are not 100% sure that we can handle because your pets deserve the best, and we want to ensure that’s what they will get! We will follow their schedules and routines to the best of our ability and only make changes when approved by you. We are available for services anywhere in Vancouver/North Portland or surrounding areas! Locations further than 5 miles from us will have an additional charge based on distance. This was the second time our pups stayed with Sylvia and Michael, and it’s the second 5 star review. They do a great job caring for the animals, making sure they get exercise/stimulation, and providing updates each day. As soon as pulled into the driveway the dogs remembered them and were excited to say hello, which is one of the most reassuring things you can see when dropping off before a trip. Highly recommend!

Sylvia and Michael did wonderful job staying with our little Jazzy June. Got lots of pictures and she seemed very happy to have them as her personal servants!
Sylvia and Michael were outstanding with our pup while we were away. They sent us updates and pictures a couple times a day during their stay with Ash. We chose to have them stay in our home so Ash would be more comfortable and his routine kept. Last year we boarded Ash with a local dog boarder and he was very sad and subdued for about a week or so after pickup. When we returned this year it was like we had never left. He was happy to see us and showed no sign of being upset. I would recommend Sylvia and Michael to anyone looking for great care of your animals and your home. We hope they will be available next year to care for Ash.

Schedule
Over my years in pet care I’ve come across all kinds of different ways that people care for their furry friends, and we would like to do our best to keep their care the same! We offer multiple schedule options for house sitting to best fit the needs of your pets. Please review the price list (located in photos) to learn more and see which one will work best for you! Extra care options include 2 pets, 3+ will incur applicable additional pet fees. I (Sylvia) work a flexible part-time/hybrid job, and Micheal works from home full time so he will be a big part of extra care bookings. All bookings that include a holiday are subject to the holiday rates. *New clients that include the schedule they would like for their pets in their request will receive a surprise discount!* 😊

Safety, trust & environment
Daycare/Boarding - Offered in our home for cats, and dogs. There is an unfenced patio/yard for potty breaks and play time. There are cats in the home that can be kept away if your pet is not friendly with cats. Don’t worry, the cats have an entire floor to themselves and will still get the attention and love they need! Please bring your pets food, favorite toys, or anything you think would make their stay more comfortable. We have food/water bowls, beds, and they will be allowed on the furniture if that is what they are used to.

If your pets are active and playful you can let us know what kind of activities they like, and if you have preferred routes for walks or parks you take them to. If they aren't active or playful then we can spend time lounging with them.
