Safety, trust & environment

When deciding to board a dog, I do not have a fenced in yard, leashing your dog to potty in my yard. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have no children or pets, so your fur baby would be an only child receiving all of my attention ;)

Information Sylvia B. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that i can account for. Example, my senior dog had arthritis in both hips. She sometimes got jammed where she suddenly couldn’t move, i would pick her up & massage both legs, put her back down & she was good to continue walking ;)

A typical day

Play tug of war, catch, check out new smells in my neighborhood, go to a park or if your dog just likes to chill…we can chill

Pet care experience

I am an animal lover and have grown up with dogs—I was 6 years old when I got my very first puppy. My last dog was my mom’s senior rescue, Gina. I helped my mother care for her by walking her daily, administering oral medications, and driving her to veterinary and grooming appointments. When my mother passed away, I took Gina in as my own. She passed away in August 2023 at the age of 15, and I miss her terribly. My love of animals extends beyond dogs—I also enjoyed feeding deer, squirrels, and birds behind my home when I lived in Pennsylvania. Over the years, I have helped friends and their children care for their dogs by providing check-ins, feeding, playing, walking, and sending photo updates to give them peace of mind. Whenever needed, I have also administered medications and provided overnight or extended care while they were out of town. What better person to care for your pet than a trusted friend who will love them as their own. I’ve always believed that one of the best things in life is the unconditional love of an animal. My years of experience show that I am passionate, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional care for dogs of all breeds. I ensure their safety and well-being at all times while also making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I am dedicated to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for every dog I work with.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker and caregiver for our senior dog. Before our vacation even began, Sylvia spent a full two hours getting to know our dog—taking the time to understand her personality, physical limitations, and specific dietary needs. That level of care and preparation meant the world to us. It was clear that this wasn’t just about walks, but about building trust and making sure our dog felt safe, comfortable, and truly loved. The quality time Sylvia spent with her helped ease both our dog’s anxiety and ours while we were away. Throughout our trip, we received daily pictures and videos, which gave us such peace of mind and reassurance that our dog was happy and well cared for. You could see the genuine bond and affection in every update. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, patience, and dedication Sylvia showed. We highly recommend her to anyone—especially those with senior dogs who need a little extra love and attention.

Sylvia is a warm, animal loving human with a huge heart. Her care for animals is unparalleled. Our dog, Fred LOVED Sylvia. He hated the leash but she’d somehow wrangle him on it and walk for miles and he loved it. She’s taken care of my own dog and multiple family members. She’s the best
