Currently, I work mostly remote, with infrequent office visits T-W-Th. I own a high energy sporting dog, Laika the Brittany, and have no problem fitting her mental and physical needs with this schedule. I love taking her and other pets in my care running, hiking, to the local dog park (depending on the dog ofc), and on long walks in my suburban magnolia neighborhood. For in house care, i prefer crate trained dogs for safety purposes, but will accept non crate trained if need be

Safety, trust & environment
I am very well versed on pet first aid. I am also very cautious about not putting animals in my care in risky situations. I prioritize the pets well-being and needs for exercise or enrichment first ALWAYS. Please let me know how your pet is around other dogs, wildlife, children, and high traffic areas, so i can modify my walking routes to best fit your dogs preferences. However, as I try to be as mindful of my neighbors n my apartment as possible, I cannot accept dogs with vocal separation anxiety.

Information Sylvia B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any bad behaviors you’re working on so i can align with your training. I can accommodate dogs with medical needs, high energy dogs, puppies (given they’re mostly house trained- accidents are understandable), and seniors.
A typical day
With me, your pet will have plenty of exercise as well as down time/nap time. I live right beside two parks, one of which is enclosed, which allows for lots of fetch and ball time as well as plenty of sniffing. For dogs who have hiking experience, i love heading down to discovery park (5 min drive away) for a longer adventure. In house, i have a bunch of great nap spots and lots of fun toys and puzzles to keep the dogs occupied.

Active & Experienced Pet Lover!
Pet care experience
I have always been a pet lover. My first two dream jobs were that or farmer and vet. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, you name it, and would always be the first to offer up my petsitting skills to the neighbors. During the start of the pandemic, i started fostering dogs and cats. My fostering experiences have given me perspective into all types of dogs and personalities! I have fostered puppies and dogs with medical needs as well.
Reviews

Sylvia has watched my dog twice and I will definitely be using her for future boardings. She's been very reliable, quick to respond to messages, and flexible with my timing. Her even-keeled demeanor feels very reassuring when I'm out of town. I can tell my dog likes spending time with her and the fam during his stays!

My dog loves Sylvia! 10/10 sitter great with my dog, Sasha!

Sylvia was wonderful with Baker and sent lots of updates and pictures. Baker came home to us tired and happy which was perfect!

Sylvia was great! She is responsive and very responsible and organized. Jackson enjoyed hanging out with her and her sweet pup. I received regular updates and knew Jackson was in good hands.
